but...but...but...the sparkling is pretty....
Vampires should not sparkle nor be all glammed up like in interview with a pusspire...erm i mean vampire.
Vampires should be mean nasty ugly horrible pure killing machines.

This says everything..^
Twilight just plain blows as a serious Vamp story..as a 2 bit romance novel perhaps, but not as anything with substance of any kind...
Considering these books are sold in the Young Adult section of bookstores, feature characters that are all in high school, and whose audience is made up of junior high school age girls, I think we're all a little relieved that you don't like them.

I've always been a fan of vampires since I was around, oh, 7 or 8 years old...about a decade before I even knew Twilight existed. Now, don't get me wrong, I've read all 4 books and I enjoyed them, but I've read plenty more vampire books and other fantasy/fiction that are much more impressive, both in storyline and character development. The movie was, well, shit in my opinion, but it makes a good party game (take a shot every time there's an awkward pause or delayed line). =]
With that being said, I am a huge vampire fans (non-sparkly, thank you), and if my true love was a vampire, I would definitely want to be bitten and turned. Hell, even if he/she wasn't my true love, I'd still want to be turned, but that's just how I am.
In regards to Edward...Buffy can stake him for all I care. 🙄

I truly do feel that I need to drive this point home.
Kain owns everyone.
lawl. So true.
But the first movie was a little bit dissapointing. Hopefully they've got their act together for the second one.![]()
