Kind of a broad question, but here goes..
My current car is in the midsts of getting repaired right now. It's a 91 Corsica, 20 year old car. It was a good car for the past 2 years I owned it, but i've decided that it's time for a new car.
Now I plan to keep the corsica for at least the next few months, possibly until march/april. Now the question I have for you all is, What car should I get? If any of you all have suggestions as to what brands are popular, or do well, let me have them. A few things here:
1. Let's say i'll be getting a refund back from my school, and I intend to save this money towards my new vehicle..
2. I'm looking for cars that are generally under $8,000 at least. New or used is fine with me. Now before you ask, yes I know that prices vary between state and county, so spare me that. Again, if you have any suggesions, i'm all ears..
Update: The Cylinder head gasket of my car is gone, and it's expensive to replace, so within the next few weeks, i'll be looking for a new car..

). Another advantage to lightweight is that you'd either have a 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder (I'd go the 6, otherwise there's not much of a point in having a truck.), which would be better on gas than a v8. Trucks also give you utilitarian advantage. You won't have to pay delivery fees when buying new furniture or appliances, which will save you about 50 bucks whenever you buy something big (which is great until your friends want you to help them move!
That is, unless you charge them, or tell them to buy you a case of beer, or something.).
Some people think it is strange, but for me it's perfectly normal. The cause of this is simply the over-production of most manufacturers. They want to make and sell as many cars as possible, thus making their models rather weak. I personally also have an almost brand new car( less than two years old) and at least every 3-4 months a have to get it repaired, which is actually hilarious, because i have an older car too, which gives me no problems whatsoever, except oil change and so on. Well, that's all from me for now, I hope you make a wise choice and get a nice car
, so I hope you never find out
