I don't know about ya'll, but I feel like the list of stuff I've gotta do before NEST just keeps growing and growing as the time I have to do it just keeps getting shorter and shorter.

I've gotta turn my black hole of an apartment back into something presentable for the people who are sleeping over.

I've gotta find time for my manicure/pedicure (which I got an incredible deal on thanks to groupon.com - just sayin')

I've gotta clean out my car - do laundry - pack - get my hair done - figure out who's going to take care of my kitties while I'm gone - pick out my outfits - buy shoes....*asplodes*

What do you have to do before NEST rolls around?

HA I am so there.
I have to make poker tables for Friday night
Get a mani/pedi.
Get hair done.
Do laundry, find my spring clothes, finish a dress I'm making, and then hope I can decide what to bring.
Clean my car.
Figure out where I need to be and when.
PACK!!!!!!!
And I'm sure there is going to be more added on to that at some point.
 
Yep! Lots to do. I got a lot done today though so I am happy. Still have a few items on the list.
 
I need Frankenberries, milk, wonderbread, package of kraft singles cheese, frozen peas, chocolate moose ice cream....um...oh shit, that's my grocery list :shrug:
 
I'm glad I'm not the only one who will be burning the midnight oil/running around trying to get finished. I picture an all nighter next Wednesday night. Probably means I won't leave until later than I planned. This is always my lame story lol.
 
Oh, TONS. And most of it I won't even be able to begin until around next Monday.

I've already started a pile on my kitchen table of stuff I have to absolutely remember to pack.

Btw Skippy-wife: I'm finding dry goods in my cupboard for food for our room...let's just say we'll be eating a lot of granola that weekend.

because i am just at a complete LOST! i don't know..i need a bag for the plane..but carry on can only be so much weight..and i've never been on a plane...and and and i just don't know!

what am i supposed to be bringing?
i feel i should buy a bathing suit though...other than that i mean..
what? clothes? PUFFY! puffy is coming too! and...i need to pay rent before i go!

My uncle just got his bag lost on a trip from PA to TX. Put all your essential shit into your carry-on.

Fuck flying. I'll roadtrip anywhere anytime, but planes are a pain in the ass.

When I saw this thread it made me realize the amount of stuff I DO need to get done before NEST :yowzer:

I need to pay my rent and bills.

I need to start making a pile of things I want to pack but would easily forget (cellphone charger, bathing suit, flip flops, etc.)

Do laundry out the wazoo!

Grade 55 essays for my Freshmen.

Create a final exam for my Freshmen that is actually being given on Saturday during the weekend of NEST....oh well :doublethrust:

Turn in two 20 page papers for my final grades in my classes...one is already finished and needs editing, the other needs a few more pages of writing, editing, and then turning that annoying paper in! :ranty:

Put gas in my car...clean up my apartment....wash dishes (which I DESPISE)

Get a few snacks for the hotel room...(maybe some discounted Easter candy after this Sunday)...:excited:

And finally BAKE...BAKE...and BAKE a ton of cookies for everyone :happyfloa

It all seems daunting but it keeps my mind busy because I have NEST on the brain like crazy now that it is SO close!!! :tickling:
 
I work every day leading up to the day I leave, except for this Saturday and Sunday. I have to pay several bills, sign the lease for my new apartment, pack up everything in my apartment and get the place ready for when I move out... the day after I get home from NEST. XD
 
I gotta pack shit.

Other than that , I still have to cram in plenty of taunting , teasing , & just generally poking some fun at the OP , her wives , & whoever else gets in my way.

Not much, I closed my business that Friday and Monday and with Bill staying home to hold down the fort and keep the pets (and children) fed getting away is no biggie. Plus I start NEST shopping online around February 😉 Already about 90% packed, getting my hair did this Friday and a mani/pedi next Tuesday and I'm done :serenity:
 
Prepping for a going away party wednesday
Friend visiting Friday.
Install new desk/computer
Munch on Saturday.
Laundry and cleaning Sunday/Monday
Pick up my sister on Tuesday morning.
Go out, get drunk with awesome sister.
Be hungover.
Drink moar with awesome sister.
Bake birthday cake for the day of the road trip
Pack
Sleep on drive down.

I wore one of LeeAllure's dresses to my very first NEST in April of '99; it was my first time flying alone, the airline lost my bag and didn't deliver it 'til about halfway through the Sunday party :evileye: Since then I rarely check bags and NEVER check anything I can't afford to be without during the weekend. Having said that, as much as I love roadtripping I can't beat a nice 80 minute nonstop from Columbus to Philly, it costs about as much as I'd pay in gas these days and no one has to worry I'm lost somewhere between Columbus and Neptune 😛
