why do i die in all my dreams???

I used to have a recurring dream in which I died every time at the end, but woke up okay with it, since in the dream I was in a revolution against a tyrannical oppressor and was succeeding at thwarting them even though at the end I could literally FEEL the heavy slugs of the bullets striking my body, in slow motion. Sort of a liberating feeling, to know that even though they'd killed me, I'd still accomplished the mission as I was dying.

I'm from Ukraine originally, and I know that over there it's believed that if you die in your dreams, you will live a long life.

i actually had a death dream myself, i never actually wittnessed myself dying but it started in the funeral home, to of which everything was already layed out the flowers the chairs me in the casket etc, the thing that scared the shit out of me was the room ( other than me in it ) was empty. I had that dream over 10 years ago. I dont know why i have such a vivid memory sometimes that alone frightens me as well

When you have a dream of someone else dying, that means that person will live a very long life. So when you dream of yourself dying you'll live a long life too 🙂 I had several dreams where i've died but woke up feeling fine, i think they may have due to the fact i was playing DOOM, F.E.A.R., or metal gear online that night XD
As a symbol, death represents “the greatest change we can encounter” and is a scary change for many. A dream with images of death in most cases, represents change and generally, it is a major change in some way. It can be a positive change in attitude, health, career or relationship. Or if the dream story has a more negative tone and feeling level, it may be a disappointing or negative change. Because death is a scary image for many, the change may be one that feels scary, but is not necessarily bad.
I read Tarot for fun and for friends. Drawing the death card always freaks everyone out but it's usually actually a good thing. It generally signifies the end of something, and eventual rebirth again as something new. Could be a dead end job, a dead end relationship, something that you hate that isn't serving you well anymore and so, you move on and up to bigger things.

love feet, I wouldn't worry about your dreams. All our dreams are is our subconcious mind going thru information and discarding stuff that is deemed irrelevant. Dreams are purely symbolic, nothing serious to them. Did you know that in dreams, you can't read anything?
Ah...a non believer. Please do explain "you can't read anything?"? Do you mean like signs and the like?
And I do my best reads in person, BTW. I can get a sense of who you are online of course but it's not the same. A few of you for better or worse blow me off my chair with your life force. And if ya don't, no sweat, it just means you give off the "normal" vibe. You're the ones I worry about the most. Because I can't see when you're coming.

Seriously though, I think it's perfectly healthy to have dreams where you die. I've had them and I'm still here. Yes, I'm somewhat bipolar or manic depressive, but I enjoy them. They give me perspective, sometimes reminding me that life is short and I should enjoy it while I can. (Which is funny, becuase as a natural pessimist this goes against my tendancies.)
Now I'm no expert on this subject or anything, I just think that if you try and interpret your dreams that you should always do so 'with a grain of salt'. Could it be bad, maybe. But it can also just be a reminder that you need to think about things you haven't done that you always wanted to do, etc.
Just my 2.5 cents.

I have often dreamt that I had commited suicide by either electrocution, slitting my wrists/throat, jumping off of bridges into a river/the interstate, etc. Don't know why that is, either. I have been having these kind of dreams off and on since I was 13 (12 years).

Sometimes the fear of death permeates one's self conscious. Has anyone you are acquainted with died recently? It could simply be transference into fears about your own mortality or just a little spot of insecurity in said mortality. Try sleeping with music. That tends to override that last loop of thought (worries, fears, etc) after you slip into sleep. At least that works for me.
Whew, that actually makes me feel a little better! I was at a friend's party not that long ago and had my cards read and got the dreaded "death" card but it wasn't really explained in full as to what that meant so it was sort of freaky.
I've actually had dreams of me dying or of me already dead, laying in the casket and watching people cry over me while I try to reassure them that I'm ok. No idea if those dreams actually mean anything or if they're just shitty dreams.. Had a really bad dream last night actually and had a lot of trouble trying to go back to sleep. I'm blaming that one on being sick 🙁 But nope, you're definitely not alone with these types of dreams.

I frequently almost die (or have what im dreading happen to me, its often falling off something as i'm somewhat afraid of heights) but never do. I'm actually somewhat curious as to what it would be like.

I just wake back up, shed my tears, turn on the radio and try to imagine that the guy singing is me. That always helps.
As far as any significant others in my life, which would be my family...they all think it's just all in my head and that I'm telling them my dreams just to get attention. I have had an off and on dream about what transpired when I was 8 years old between me and another family member that was charged with taking care of me while my parents went out to celebrate their anniversary, too. But I won't go into further detail here since it is a sensitive subject matter. PM me and I'll tell all.
