There you go again Steph;

Turning giant men into puddles of mush! You know you have that effect on the guys around here. Maybe I'll buy some of Jessica Simpson's dessert products and join you at his feet.😀 😉 😛

Do love the sound of the Jessica Simpson stuff. Bring enough for both of you. 😀

awww, you're making me blush hon...

 But thank you Doll!😛
You're going to lOVE the way this stuff tastes! Great idea, BTW. I've already got some fitness but I'll be sure to bring extra!
XOXO

i've never really been tickled for more than 10 seconds, so i wouldn't have been giving up that much control anways

Wait till you've been tickled for a couple of hours a few times. A WHOOOOOOOOOLE different experience. 😉

n.b. Many times I've had an encounter with a girl, who I've given the odd poke in the ribs to, who I know is very ticklish. She knows she's ticklish. She knows I know she's ticklish.

Now one technique I've used to great effect is the "provoke to sassiness" method. I get involved in an exchange of words with said girlie, she gets sassie, I reply in kind and she ups the ante. Several times I warn her (fingers wiggling as an example of the fate that is about to overcome her) what I'll do if she persists, but still she does. So I attack, girlie goes down in a squealing heap, begging me to stop and saying she hates being tickled. I stop after a few seconds and admonish daft girlie never to annoy me again, or she'll know what to expect. Twenty seconds later girlie is annoying me again, deliberately provoking the response she claims to hate.

As far as I'm concerned there's a tacit agreement in that exchange of sillyplay. She knows what I'll do, yet she seems to do everything she possibly can to bring it down on her head, despite professing to hate it. So yes, she's said she hates it beyond words, but I feel no guilt about making her squeal or beg for mercy, despite her asking me to stop.

It's a fine line to judge; no-one wants to do something to someone that is tantamount to indecent assault. But at the same time, there is a lot of communication between humans that goes beyond words. A girl like I've mentioned above may beg not to be tickled, but tickled she will be and tickled a lot! She knew it was coming, and deliberately provoked it with that "I know I hate it, but I can't help myself" look in her eye. By the time I give her a seriously good tickling she'll have had plenty of opportunities to let me know she's serious when she says she doesn't want me to do it. If her behaviour is still jokey and she's doing exactly the annoying behaviour I've told her will result in being tickled senseless, I take that as a green, light.

Ladies, what do you think of the above? What I've just described is something that would happen between myself and someone I know very well, not just a gal I met that day at the train station. I'll know them and their personality very well by this stage. Do you agree with me when I go in for the kill because of their "green light", or do you think it's wrong?

I can definately understand that and appreciate your concerns. This is an open-ended offer should you ever change your mind. 🙂

TOTAL green light, Big Jim

No brainer! 😛
XOXO

Go get her Tiger! 😛
XOXO

PS~It's like we speak a whole other language sometimes, isn't it? (We do that to keep you on your toes!)

Jim,

I'm not nearly as concerned for the flirt who says she hates it, but continues to bring it on herself, as I am with the one who says she hates it, and really hates it. As long as she's the former and not the latter, have at it!!🙂

i definitely agree with steph on that one. what you described sounds like a natural (and likely to occur) series of events. as i mentioned before, she could say she hates it and really not mean it. (because, duh, if its soooo torturous, as a tickler you're going to take advantage of that, right?) so in the end, all parties have fun!

green for GO, not NO

LOL

Ya, she's clearly flirting with him, I can feel it from here! 😛
XOXO

Steph, have you noticed that the color under your name is green (2nd Level Green Feather). If GREEN means GO, Sacramento, Here I come!!!😀 😀 😀

Re: LOL

lol Well I'm glad y'all think so. Because I've always tickled in those circumstances, and mostly without mercy or restraint.

She - singular? Has happened lots of times, and not usually with someone you'd consider to be "flirting" per se. Several of the girlfriends of my girlfriend for example. It makes me think that there's this big sub-conscious level to humanness that regards tickling as a form of communications. So I'm just keeping up communications between friends, right? 😀 :firedevil

Well Mr. mgc...

Does that mean you're prepared to deliver on ANOTHER lost basketball bet? 😀
XOXO

PS~Oops, my bad, Big Jim! (you're a lucky guy, ya know??)At any rate, it sounds like you're doing all the right things as far as THEY're concerned...😀

Ummm, correct me if I'm wrong but Didn't my Lakers advance farther than your Kings??? I think that I won the bet which means that I will be paying a visit to collect my winnings! 😀 😛 😛 😛 :tickle: :tickle:

Oh ho HO my dear~I do believe the bet was that your beloved Flakers would win in the playoffs vs my Queens. Although mine lost, so did yours...Now what Mr. Smartypants?? 😛
XOXO

Hey, you hijackin' chowderheads...

What, exactly, does any of that crap have to do with this thread, much less tickling? Give it a rest! :sowrong:

🙂 Perhaps those females that hate to be tickled had sadistic family members or/and boyfriends.
Their dislike for being tickled could be caused by classical conditioning. The females could have liked a feeling of powerlessness and uncomfort with tickling.
🙂

I guess that I will just have to print out the evidence whch shows that I won the bet! This will cost you an extra hour of tickling, my sexy lady! 😀

Dan, calm down before I make mow another lawn!!!

now getting back to topic, it is simply because they hate it. They need no other reason than that
