I decided to ask someone who hates being tickled WHY they hate it...

Late yesterday I asked my younger sister Becky why she's always hating being tickled so much.....she's extremely ticklish (and very ticklish everywhere), and has hated being tickled since childhood.

A little background: Becky is 39 yrs old...slender and very pretty; in great shape (5'6"-118 lb), even after having four kids. She's a college graduate, posesses a blackbelt in karate. She's a very spunky, determined, and strong willed lady...never let obstacles get in her way of achieving goals. My little sis is much more mentally tough than I am.

Why does sis say she hates being tickled so much? Because it's a weakness....she said being tickled is total torture..."hell on earth". No matter how angry or determined, if anyone tickles her, Becky collapses into hysterical laughter within seconds. She hates the feelings of helplessness and being out of control.

I remember times when sis would try to fight me when we were growing up....all I had to do is begin tickling her, and she'd immediately stop fighting and collapse into the floor giggling her head off....had absolutely no resistance whatsoever. It's that same feeling of total helplessness that she hates (sis says she'd rather be beaten than tickled any day).

My little sis isn't fibbing when she says she could take a beating better than handle being tied up and tickle-tortured....because in 1984, she was married for three hell-filled months to a sadist who did both to her (beat her with a hammer, beat her with his fists...but also tied her to their bed and tickled her until she peed on herself then passed out 🙁

I know Becky can handle pain. I once watched her compete in a beauty pageant only hours after being beaten by our abusive father. Sis's back was so sore and bruised she could barely walk, yet those in attendance would have never known it....she smiled through the pain and finished third. I've always said if she were 100% that night, she'd have won.

Sis has a much higher threshold for pain than from being tickled. Several months ago, I told her about Traci (my g/f) withstanding over three minutes of having her feet tickled before yelling the safeword. Becky said she wouldn't last a minute if tied up and tickled....there was no way she'd last as long as Traci did.

School is school. I have double classes through November. On my plan, I graduate in December. I take my life one double class at a time until I graduate or get tired, whichever comes first. But I'm pretty stubborn in almost every aspect of my life, so I think December is a go. There's only one area of my life where stubborness can be broken. You get three guesses........

Yeah....sis also has a nasty temper. Her hubby is 6'4", and isn't brave enough to tickle her. I'm a very big guy, and no longer attempt to tickle her. The problem is what'd sis would do when the bondage was removed....and that isn't pretty 😀

Also, NT mentioned someone tickling sis until it desensitized her. I'm not sure that's possible in her case.
I tickled Becky all the time when we were growing up...so did our cousins and all the kids in our neighborhood (one reason sis hates being tickled so much)....and sis says she's just as ticklish today as when she was 12.
