For me it's all about the travel and time off from work. I would love to attend this years NEST but distance and vacation time are major issues. Would any of you consider hosting a party or munch here in Vegas? I find it quite interesting that I live in Sin City(America's Adult Playground) and we have not had one gathering. Remember, this town has 24hr "everything". In my opinon, this would be the perfect spot. It doesent even have to have any action. I'd love to just sit and chat and share a few drinks with other people who are into this fetish. No play needed. Many of my friends know about my love for tickling I'd just like to meet someone else face to face who's into our scene...

I'm definitely all for such a Gathering or a NEST-type party here in Vegas,although that would definitely--Definitely--have to be some play and action at this party,for that's what would get a large turn-out to one of these things,and that the girls attending would have to be pretty(and semi-pretty),as well(although I'll openly accept any lady I would see there,no matter what her look or weight is like,since that's how the parties go,from the pics I've seen from these parties).

The other thing (and this is probably more important) as a single white male in his mid forties, I would feel really put off and embarrased if everyone who turned up was in their twenties or early thirties (i.e. I would start to feel everyone would be looking at me as if I was some sort of predatory desperate dirty old man - which is of course what I am but I do so hate people thinking it).

I'm in my early 40s and I never think with such an attitude like that,since that's the type of age group to expect at such parties,especially since many of the folks at the Vegas Footnight parties happen to be in the 20s and 30s(mainly the foot models,and some of the attending guys)and there's no such thing as age difference there,for I just throw my age out the door and get down with having fun at the party(no matter what the age is[as long ast hey're over 18]).

I think you're totally right - it's wacky that Vegas, of all places, doesn't have any regular events. Honestly, it doesn't take that much to get started. It sounds like there are quite a few of you in or near Vegas who'd be interested in attending, and since your city is an actual vacation destination, I'm sure you'd find people willing to travel!

I'm glad that's where your expectations are - if that's what you're looking for, you'll definitely be able to find it. 🙂 I agree that that's the most important part of getting people together for these events.

Anyone who's ever hosted these events is going to tell you that you have to be patient when building a new community. It's hard to get women to attend in large numbers, and when they do, they look like any cross section of the general population. If you're comparing Gatherings to something like a Footnight party, where all the girls are young and pretty... remember that you're paying them to be there. When there's no money involved, you'll draw people who enjoy tickling for it's own sake. If you appreciate them on that level, no matter their sex or what they look like, you'll be much happier with your experience. 🙂

You can host... find a restaurant for the munch, if there's enough interest maybe crash a house or hotel room, lift gathering rules from someone like dvnc... it seems scary but it's not really so bad.... i'm sure the uberhosts would be willing to give pointers (I dunno, do we have a FAQ on holding gatherings/munches anywhere???)

Yeah sod it, why not? Get yourselves round to Headsnap Towers on the 28th July and we'll have the first annual Headsnap's Tickle Gathering. For a small sampling of your British pounds/ American dollars/ Canadian worthless-scraps-of-paper you can enter my bungalow and wreck up the place for a few hours. Afterwards we'll hit the town and indulge in the traditional Highland sports of winding up tourists and abusing/ attacking migrant Polish workers! There are various places where tips have been applied. I keep the old originals I did on my website. Many of us are available via email - [email protected] - and can answer many questions. I even know when to ask others. Just ask 'em 😉

There WAS a Vegas event, but the only Vegas person to show was the host, really. We did that WAY back. Start a munch. Meet your local crew. If you don't want that, travel to our LA gatherings. Next set's in July (two of 'em, for two visitors who BOTH had to show at differing points in the month). That's a cheap flight or a basic drive. Same mail address to sign up.

Meeting folks in real life that share this is cool. Far beyond what you'd figure, when you get an actual group of us.

Still...I was scheduled to be in Eastern, PA next week. I was to be heading home on Friday and had considered seeing if I could stop by and say hi to some of the folks before heading home.

Other things got in the way of that (travel plans and schedules with customers) so maybe next year.

Thanks for the encouragement Aqua! Althou I've never done anything like this before, I'm going to make a serious effort organize a munch/gathering here in Vegas for the fall. I/we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

First Gathering Probably in A Few Months

I will most likely be attending my first gathering in a few months with my s/o, who has been to a couple already, and assures me that just hanging out with the people is the really great part about it. And since I'm extremely shy anyway, that will work for me, since I'm extremely shy until I get to know a person. I just really want to go to meet the people, and will only be "playing" with s/o anyway (and vice versa for him also), it should be relaxing and fun.
