WrestleMania reactions?

Goodbye and I pray the door hits you on the way out. What a pathetic response. You damn well know we are right about Flair's legacy compared to Bret Hart's and why you're an ass. You hate McMahon for no good reason. You hate Flair for no good reason. You know and everyone else knows that Bret Hart will not have the same legacy as Ric Flair.

You say Bret Hart worked with most of them too, but did he "put them over"? Bret Hart was really well known while he was in the WWE. Can You please tell me how he elevated the careers of Dusty Rhodes, the 4 Horsemen, Lex Luger, Sting, Ricky Steamboat, Brian Pillman, Rick Rude, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Batista and Randy Orton?

I don't remember classic matches of Bret Hart vs Dusty Rhodes. I don't remember classic matches of Bret Hart vs any of the Horsemen. He might have worked with them, but how did he help make their careers better? You don't think do you? Sure, he's made Austin better, HBK, his brother Owen and such, but Flair has been in the business 36 freakin years. He has put on some classic matches. Haven't you heard the saying that Ric Flair could go 60 minutes in a match with a broom and make the broom look good? He has worked with some of the best the industry has ever known and was a 16 time World champion. Keep in mind that Bret Hart's reign as champion was mainly during the "boring" years of the WWE in the early 90's. Think about it man, what are the two big eras in WWE? Hulkamania and "Attitude" (w/ Steve Austin). Guess who the "filler" was between those eras? Bret Hart. So once again, tell me how great Bret Hart is because to me, he is a great wrestler, but he will be forgotten a lot faster than Ric Flair ever will be.

So take your "he's never hurt anyone in a match" crap and go away. Whatever legacy Bret Hart has, you're ruining it by opening your trap. You say we jump when McMahon tells us to, but you do the same with Hart. You can't escape the fact that McMahon actually does do some good. So take off your Bret Hart pink glasses, face reality and just go away. Leave us WWE fans alone. You don't watch it anymore, so WHY SHOULD YOU CARE about WWE threads? Trying to spread the word about McMahon's evilness? Sorry, we will still watch it because we know the man is doing everything he can to entertain us. That is his job. Something you obviously forgotten.

Once again, goodbye, good riddance and don't show up again. I know, you will.....We'll be waiting.

I stated my point at least twice, in the facts. Isn't it funny how all the guys you claim Flair put over were mostly members of the 4HM club. Except for Pilman who your beloved Austin has claimed he held down (it's in the Brian Pilman DVD the WWE put out). As for all the charity work you talk about, public relations and tax write offs. The same people he entertains in Iraq are the same guys who are going to spend money on the product when they come home. I am no more bias towards Bret then you American's are bias towards Flair. The only difference is I can back it up. All these great legends you talked about Slick Ric working with, guess what, Hart worked with most of them too, at least the ones that were alive, when he started out.

I layed out the things that make Bret the best in my eyes. His record for great matchs, never injuring a co-worker in 24 years, and being the 5 time world champion in the top company (when it still had some value), and raising the game of everybody he worked with, including Sid Vicouse.... SID VICOUSE for fucks sakes. Nobody can lay claim to all of these things except him.

Well it doesn't matter anyway. MacMahon says jump and McMahonites say how high. I used to be that way to, but I got over it. Wrestling fans don't care about how good a match is anymore, they only care how many dumb risks the wrestlers needlessly take. The fans have all become vampires, and the WWE is your blood bank, so enjoy your feast.

I bid you all a Hart Felt goodbye for now.

My question is why do you associate Flair`s career and the WWf/ E whatever???

Flair was The Player LONG before he even ventured to that organization. He could have retired from NWA / WCCW and he would still be considered a ICON of icons.

As far as I am concerned wrestling was at its Zenith when Flair and the Horsemen were dominating the NWA in the 80`s .He wrestled 60-minute main events all the time. He carried the franchise and created the BIGTIME that these top wrestlers enjoy now!

Everything you talked about described Flair. Flair held the NWA title back when it was the top title in all of wrestling. Back when the titles meant the most. Bret was the champ of the WWF when they were starting to go downhill. The WWF was about to go out of business because of WCW and a few other things. I don't think you can say that Bret was the champ of the top company.

I can say that I have never been a 'McMahonite' (WTF is that?) as you put it. I don't agree with a lot of things that Vince does, and I'm sure that everyone else feels the same way. Do you think that I want to see some fuckin' leprachaun running through a wall? Do you think I liked seeing the Coach try to blow up some TNT in the middle of the ring? Or how about some of the corny jokes they love to show, although they gotten away from that. You bash Vince every chance you get. Defending Vince doesn't mean we agree with everything he says. It just means we don't agree with you.

My two cents:
Ric Flair is my favorite wrestler ever. Because he is the total package. There are people who are better than him at some areas, but they tend to be lacking in others.
Also as far as getting people over: I can't think of any champion who has sold or bumped more for others than Ric. His thing was always making the other guy look good (very handy in the territory-days, especially), and then cheat his way to a win.

I can't believe I missed this one...

Ok just to correct you on this one, because this is an old thread, WWE was still on top in the company until Shawn won the title at Mania 13, then the raitings droped because males viewers jumped over. The source of this is Dave Meltzers Wrestling Observer. Normaly I am not big on Dave, but this is something that could be disproven, if so, do so.
