😀 I said it before and I'll say it again; it's impossible for the USA and Canada to play bad hockey against each other.

Oh the pain. The guy who got the last goal for the USA plays for the Vancouver Canucks... thus giving me another reason to hope they never win Lord Stanley's cup... EVER!!
 
I love Crosby and I'm happy that he plays for our Pens but I'm really excited that the US is up! :clap:

And if the US wasn't playing tonight, I'd be rooting for Canada. 😛
 
I don't know guys... I found that game good but incredibly painful to watch throughout - to me it just seemed that only half the team was really giving their all, most of them seemed either tired and/or unfocused or, god forbid, uncaring and I've seen that enough times from the Senators here over the past 2 years to recognize the signs...

- Condoloences to Joannie Rochette and her family on the tragic passing of her mother, she will still compete apparently but undoubtedly will be heavy hearted.

- We seem to have this fascination with numbers greater than the number 3... 4th from Del Bosco, 4th AND 5th from the Hamelins... and even though Groves got Silver today, where were Klassen and Nesbitt...

"Own The Podium" eh... it would help our cause if we could just make the damn podium.

(Apologies for rant but I'm frustrated at hearing the phrase "missed the medals or missed the podium" too much in the last 2 days alone...)
 
I just wanted to say YAY for USA. Beating Canada for the first time in the Olympics in 50 years 😀
 
Bah, who cares about hockey?

Much more important is that NORWAY WON the cross country team sprint.

I'll be rooting for Norway in their game against Slovakia. Hopefully Vikingstad and Aasen will be able to keep the game close! 😀

An update for all:

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir of Canada are the gold medals winners in Figure Skating Pairs - Ice Dance. They are the first Canadians ever to win gold in this event, the first North Americans ever to win gold at this event and the second highest score in competitive ice dance history.

I think that's deserving of a DAMN!!! 😀 😀 😀 :canada:
 
coolness.... there was a medal that USA got this year, it was for one of the skiing ones and it was our first time ever... firsts are always nice, especially when you kick butt at it finally 😛 Good for them Canadians. 😀
