This game is crazy.
Canada won' win Gold, but I'm sure they'll beat Slovakia, but I thought Sweeden was supposed to win? lol
And while I'm here, I feel for you Carsomyr, I really do. I whole-heartedly hope that it comes down to The Ottawa Senators and The Vancouver Canucks in the Stanley Cup final this year so that either Daniel Alfredsson or the Sedin twins win the Stanley Cup.
For a Canadian city. 😉
Whatever, Canadian...
We'll make an example of Slovakia tonight, but your impending doom is written in stone!😀
Joannie Rochette, in what had to be one of the most difficult performances of her life, has won the Bronze medal. I'm really happy for her > to lose someone so close to you leading up to your performances and to have the strength to continue on and persevere... good on Joannie Rochette! 😀

Men's and Women's Curling, we are in on both!
Next up is Canada vs. Slovakia. Here's hoping on another win and another Gold medal attempt!

Just like it was in the women's final no doubt... oh wait... the Canadian women won the hockey AGAIN!!!
So yeah, if Canada you play, final round you will lose. Do or do not, for you there is no hockey gold.

Ahem. Men's Curling yesterday, Canada sends Sweden to the Bronze Age. And during the round robin:

Sweden was one of the 3 games Canada has won thus far by more than one point. At no point did I think the Women's Hockey Gold was a lock, but if there was a lock to be had at these Olympics, it might be this match.
Seriously Cars, you should stick to beard-growing and other things your country is good at. 😉

As for Women's Curling... so you're saying that if our women grow beards, they will be unstoppable?![]()

I feel for her loss, and I am happy for her success. However I still think Frédéric Bilodeau should carry the flag for Canada during the closing ceremony. Maybe somebody will have rower Marnie McBean's balls and bring a big Canadian flag so everybody can hold a piece like she did at the Summer games one year.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot...

US sets medals record, Canada ties gold record
By JAIME ARON, AP Sports Writer
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP)—While the Vancouver Olympics aren’t finished, the medal races are—and in spectacular fashion for North Americans.
The United States is guaranteed 37 medals and Canada will finish with at least 13 gold medals. Both are the best of these games and part of the greatest hauls ever at a Winter Olympics.
The Americans will leave with the most medals by any country at any Winter Games. They also will win the medal count for only the second time, the other being at Lake Placid in 1932...
...The Canadians have matched the record of 13 golds set by the Soviets in 1976 and Norway in 2002. It’s also the most gold Canada has won at any Olympics, winter or summer, and its the most for any Winter Olympics host country; both those marks had been 10.
