Sometimes being with a bitch (or one to be thought of one as) can be a good thing. It'll keep you on the straight and narrow...and the make-up sex (or playtime) can be fantastic.

I think it says a lot about the state of sexual equality in our society that a woman with the characteristics you describe would be called "a bitch." If you attached those descriptors to a man, people would call him "a leader."Tamia78 said:

They're defensive, overreactive, conniving, they take everything personally, and they hold a grudge against impersonal offenses. They're habitually rude and selfish, and consider their own point of view superior to that of others. They believe themselves to be strong by being assertive, direct, without considering whether they HAVE to be assertive in the particular argument. Unlike the tomboys, they often don't like who they are, but have identified themselves as a certain type of person and they protect that. Why else would they be so defensive over little things?
There are men like that too, and when we see them, we call them "assholes" So why should it be any different to have a feminine term for the female versions of these guys?
Not all women who are quiet and shy are weak and submissive. We think of them tht way because most men, being the macho pricks they are, tend to see them as easy targets and frequent them. But there is such a thing as a "nice" girl: pleasant, gentle and kind, and for some reason we think that's a weakness in women...but absolutely important qualities to have in men. I don't think so.
I like "nice" girls because they're pleasant to be around. I like tomboys because they're fun and relatable; respect them and they'll respect you. I don't care for girly girls per se because the line between them and bitches is very thin, and often the latter disguise themselves as the former to lure people into their circle.
