Early Report..Michael Jackson suffers cardiac arrest...and now has died. RIP.

Yesturday was a SAD day with the loss of farrah fawcett...Micheal Jackson...not so much.Yes he was a great performer.....but he was also a pedophile....i find it very hypocritical that the press who basically chased this child molester out of hollywood and out of the limelight are the same people singing praises and mourning the loss of the iconic figure...THE MAN SLEPT WITH AND MOLESTED YOUNG BOYS!!...That is abolutely unforgivable and makes you the scum of the earth for life!..or are we forgiving all the child molesters now? Sure one can put up teh arguement that me was found not guilty..SO WAS OJ!!! and who in there right mind can honestly say OJ was innocent.....Micheal did what he did to those kids and hopefully he's paying for it right now...meanwhile farrahs death falls right off the radar...unfair

Alright... I can't ignore the trolls anymore...

So tell me Gilmour, where's your proof? Was M.J. convicted? Should I give you an education in the United States Rule of Law..? Its innocent until proven guilty... Not the other way around.

I know... I know... CNN and FOX deemed him guilty in the court of public opinion, beating the horse till it died a few more times... Just like they do with anything in the 24 hour news cycle that gives them ratings... A couple days ago, it was the Iranian Revolution... Not hearing anything about that anymore are ya?

Nope, they've moved on to a story that will garner them more attention... They are *****s... They have no loyalty to anyone or anything but their bottom line. They made Michael Jackson guilty a few years ago because it gave them better ratings... But the last time I checked, Wolf Blitzer and Bill O'Reilly were not the judge in M.J.'s court case, correct? No... They just drive their sensationalized bullet points into your head till they convince you and make you think its your own opinion...

Try to be a little objective... Was M.J. convicted? Because in the American court system, you are not guilty unless proven so...

Moms and MJ

Just a thought. I find it fascinating how many loving mothers are in this thread and have no issue with openly mourning the loss of MJ. Of course we heard the allegations, and we called for his head if the allegations were true, I for one had NO sympathy and wanted him removed from society. Then settlements and acquittals happened and we moms just...well, we resigned ourselves to the truth: we'll never know what really happened, the man we grew up adoring in the '70's and '80's was obviously **crazy** by the '90's and we wouldn't let him on the same street as our own babies, but we still loved and respected Michael Jackson the Musician. And that's who we're so defensive about right now to those who are making negative comments. I freely admit that I had to consciously divorce the talented young singer/dancer I loved in 1983 from the Walking Weird of the last decade or so, a lot of people did. I don't think that makes us self-deluding or naive, just people trying to deal with an incredibly beloved icon's fall from grace as best we can. And I don't think it's wrong of us to ask that those who are convinced he was a pedophile respect our love of the man's talent and mark on the musical world and not the man himself, whom frankly I don't believe anyone really knew.

This truly came as a shock to me. He was just one of those people who you could never imagine dying. R.I.P. to one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) entertainers the world has ever seen, Michael Jackson.

If it was Phil Specter nobody would shed one tear, so why should this be any different. Both Jackson and Specter contributed to the music indastry right? Why does Jacko get amunity from being dumped on?

I stand by my comment.
ST

Pardon my French, but who the fuck are you to say "nobody would shed a tear" if Phil Spector died? While I certainly don't condone his actions and while I certainly think he's a bit of a nut, Phil Spector is arguably the greatest, most important and most influential record producer in the history of popular music, and I am a big fan of his work. I wouldn't necessarily "shed a tear" per se, but surely I'd have some respect and put my R.I.P. out there.

While you're entitled to your opinion of course, don't speak for others. Just sayin'.

Moving On.

They have probably finished the initial autopsy by now, and we will have to wait for a month until toxicology reports are finished. What some of the News organizations are hinting at is OD. Jackson was taking a variety of drugs. Drugs can cause the heart to go into arrhythmia, which means it stops pumping and just flutters. We will be hearing more on this for a Long Time To Come.

I live in Japan. While i was getting ready for work this morning, i checked the news on my cell phone and found out about Michael's passing... It was quite a shock. Most of the people i spoke to today seemed almost unbelieving, not sure if this news could possibly true. His passing truly is a shame, particularly at such a young age.

My thoughts go to his children and other family members. They, more than any of us, will feel this loss for the rest of their lives.

Now that Jacko is dead I bet his CDs and Itunes downloads are going to suddenly soar. 🙂

Well stated, Bella. The only thing I can say to the doubters is "show me proof". I was never exactly a Jackson fan, but that doesn't mean I'm going to jump on the bandwagon of presuming that he was guilty of crimes against children without something concrete to back that up. There are sick people out there that make claims about celebrities all the time just to attempt to extort money from them. There will always be people that think the man was guilty. Others will believe that he could never have done such a thing. The bottom line is that we will never know for sure. It is my hope that if any of us ever find ourselves in the public spotlight and stand accused of a crime, we will be given the benefit of the doubt. But sadly, there would be those that cast us as criminals that belong behind bars, even if it turns out that we really are innocent. Our reputations would be forever tainted, no matter what. And you know, that really sucks. I choose to remember Michael Jackson for the undeniable impact his music left on people across the entire world. Those that choose to cast stones, so be it.

The best memories I have of Michael revolves around the days when a couple of my father's friends and himself got together and half way into the conversation they started bringing up the days when they went to the clubs every night to kick up the moves to MJ's tunes. Major disco hits back in the day everywhere! My pops was a really good dancer then (still hold photos of him wearing jimmy or afro, lol) and whenever he wanted to put a grin on my face he just had to start dancing to MJ... ^_^
This man's a legend, RIP King of Pop!

To show you how far this has reached, I was IM'ing with a friend doing business in W Africa. He said he found out this morning about MJs death and the area has gone crazy over it.

Must be something to have that kind of impact in the world. Wow....all I can say is wow!

It all still seems surreal to me. I can't believe this guy is dead and I can't stop following the continuing coverage and tributes. Thursday was one of those days that you'll remember for the rest of your life.

I have Thriller and History. Not selling them for nothing. Although, doubt they are going to be worth much until years from now.

I know it's creepy as hell. It almost compares to what were you doing when Kennedy was shot or when 911 happened. Let's face it, we'll be telling this story to our grandchildren when they come home from history class.

I'm not selling mine either, I have two or three thriller albums, a jackson 5 album and a 45 of "beat it". There's so many listings on ebay right now, its crazy.

I can't really say i knew much of anything about him until recently.
I never really listened to his music growing up and and only considered him as some sort of sick child molester as my brothers would feed into my mind.
Only now can i really see the impact he had on the world and how truly beloved he was by the whole world.

He held a creativity that could rival Walt Disney and was about as eccentric as they come. But i suppose that was all part of his charm.

A visionary with a talent not just for out of this world dance steps but for the imagination of a child brought to the world through rose colored glasses.
I'm saddened by the fact it's only in death that i can see him for the icon he truly was. Micheal you were many things. Seen in so many different lights both good and bad. But the spirit you leave behind and the legacy on music will carry on timeless and with a fire to rival the Beatles.

The king is dead.....Long live the king.

:cry1: A truly sad day!! RIP - MJ. The world - has lost a great artist & entertainer.
3 children - have lost their father. 2 parents - have lost their son. Siblings - have lost their brother. (my prayers are with them at this time of grief) His music & talent will live on & be remembered as "The King of Pop" (Gone Too Soon). :dropatear :cry1:

This.

Probably one of the best (if not the best) post in this thread; and it comes from someone claiming they knew little or nothing about him.

Bravo.....bravo.:judges:

What a tool. :sarcasm:

What a tool. :sarcasm:

Tool?? Did you call him a tool?? He is not a tool!

He is a domineering, emasculating, autocratic, piece of shit tool! He is worthless excrement and is the sole reason his son is dead today IMO and I bet many would agree with me!

He's out there advertising groups while his son's body hasn't been buried yet?? May he rot in the hottest part of hell!!!!!:disgust: :sowrong:

If you're going to call him a tool, might as well get it right! :sarcasm: :ignite:
