There sure are a lot of people here that takes things awfully seriously.
 
Since a love of tickling is the only thing that brings everybody to this forum to begin with, your always going to get conflicting opinions/views on pretty much everything.
 
I agree, but I really think we need to stop making new threads about all of the drama and let the old threads just die out.

I'm not just talking about the drama now though, it's always been like this. For years and years. And of any message board for any subject I've ever been on, it seems like this one for one reason or another always has the most. I just find it odd.

Perhaps it's the expectation that, once you've found a haven where we can discuss our love of tickling, you sort of become unprepared for the fact that we are all very different people, and do not always agree.

I certainly was when I joined the boards.
 
Well y'know...tickling isn't particularly funny, which can be somewhat ironic I suppose. What's funny is that the arguments about it have gone on FAR longer than the actual subject that started it did.

The opening post of this thread contains just one sentence, and is followed by a note that says "User was banned for this post." I am puzzled. Was the user banned for the post as it currently appears, or for portions which have since been removed? I ask this because, speaking as one who has always defended the prerogatives of the moderators of this forum, but also as one who has applauded the moderators for their mission statement that this is a board that it is very hard to be banned from, I can't see how the post, as it currently appears, could be cause for banishment. The post, in its present form, looks like a generic and innocuous opinion that doesn't attack anybody by name or otherwise incite trouble. Might I impose upon the moderators to comment, partly so that I won't unthinkingly run afoul of any of the guidelines and get myself banned one day?
