Happy Birthday Jaba! Sorry I am late in seeing this thread but I hope your birthday was a splendid wonderful day 
I want to thank you so much for taking the time out of your lives to post me a birthday greeting. It is really appreciated and it means a lot.
I don't do any real celebrating.....the highlight on my day was when I had one of my semi regular (though not often enough) morning walks with a wonderful old man who lives in my neighborhood. If I am outside or back from a bike ride and I see him, I usually try to walk with him the quarter mile distance to a shopping center nearby, and along our walk he gives me sage advice, and reminds me what grace and humility really look like. He takes with him a "borrowed" market shopping cart, and he spends a good portion of his day foraging for bottles and cans to be recycled in the afternoon. He is coy about his exact age, but I estimate him to be in his mid-eighties, with a mind as sharp as a razor on most days. He smokes like a locomotive, and has some manner of respiratory ailment. I know...I've already advised him to quit ...he says he will beat me in any foot race on my best day...... 🙄
Birthdays are bittersweet occasions....., along with the growing pains comes the probability that this wonderful old man may not be in my life for too many more birthdays....
