Hello,
A few nights ago, I was in the chat room, and I was accused of being a man.
I was told that I was confused about my gender, and that I had a penis, and an angry mob of TMF'ers has collected. I have people demanding that I post a picture of myself in the members section, or they will end their so called friendship with me.

I have never been accused of being a man until now. I refuse to post a pic of myself in the members section of this forum to please an angry bunch of people who aren't really friends after all.
I hope none of the members that do not have their pics posted do not experience hateful accusations and pressure to reveal yourself the way I have.

I am a victim of abuse now on this forum, and there is no one to help me. I have contributed to this forum with some stories, made some friends, and now all of that is being taken away by ugly rumors. Be careful to the tmf members that want to keep your identity a secret, and reveal it only to people you choose. You could be next. Good luck.

That is terrible that not just one person but a bunch of people accused you of that. It's one thing to not be sure and ask, but it's a whole other thing to accuse someone of, basically, lying about their gender. That's BS.

How anyone could accuse you of being a guy or even think that you're a guy befuddles me? 😕 The way you write and simply just the way you present yourself to TMF, to me, clearly says you're a woman.

Ignore those losers. If some of them are going to end their friendship with you, then they were never really your friends in the first place.

Helena, I've spoken to you often, and you are a very kind person. I have no reason to believe that you are anything but a woman. As for those who accused you of being a man, unfortunately, that happens on this forum, due to a few jerks who happen to be troublemakers.
My best advice, use the ignore button. I am giving you the same advice that I use for myself. From time to time, I have had rude people pc me in chat and say nasty things, or leave PM's in my mailbox that were rude. People like that simply arent worth my time, so I ignore them on both chat and forum.
As you know, there are many nice people on this forum, but also a small percentage of A$$holes. Focus on the nice people who act in a friendly and civil manner to you, and just ignore the jerks. That is how I've conducted things for my four years here, and is about the only thing one can do.

Oh Helena, they're not going to believe even if you do post a picture. I've been in your situation back when AOL had newsgroup access. I defended a tickler named Kuman and suddenly I was accused of being him. Even with Redmage who had met me IRL and several others who had spoken to me on the phone to vouch I was not a man and definantly not Kuman, they continued accuse me of being him up until the day AOL took newsgroup access away.

So just ignore them. They'll never be satisfied or believe.

I got some of it when I first joined up but for some reason it never bothered me. I've never posted my pic in the photos section. I started meeting with members, Ray and Tracy put up a few galleries of me on their website, it all worked out in the end. And Jan f/f is right~there are more than a few guys on here posing as chicks fooling the guys~we girls can tell who they are and my own personal list is beyond long. I'm 100% sure you are female~"F" the naysayers...

I was very surprised that people were trying to force me to post my picture on the forum to "erase any doubt" that I am female.
I always thought that posting a picture on this forum should be a personal decision.........there are many members on this forum who choose to protect their identity.
To all of the people who said mean things to me in the chat room, I want you to know that I don't care what you think about me. It's really easy to be mean and nasty when you are sitting behind your computer screen.

I guess some people are so involved in what they want, they forget what the other person wants.....a little respect.
I have been going to the chat room a little more often as of late and there does seem to be some people who demand things, and when they dont get it they whine and bitch about it.
I for one fully believe that Helena is whom she says she is. I dont need a picture of her to prove anything. Some people just are flat out rude and idiots.

Also Helena, I wonder if these people had their pics up...if they were demanding yours they certainly should have theirs up. So many people that make someone's expierence less than favorable...frustrates me.

Remember this...no means no, leave me alone means leave me alone....and if you have to ask for something more than once or twice, the answer is no and please dont mope and and whine about it, complaining the person who wouldnt comply with your demands.

Helena...dont worry about it hun.....I know its frustrating, but let a MOD know and they will take care of it.

I've been around this forum a long time myself, and my take on it is that whoever said this is just some deranged jackass who was trying to bait you into posting so they could get a pic for their "collection". The trick is to tell assclowns like that they can go and fornicate themselves with an iron stick. People who act like that are NOT friends. They're bitter, desperate, souless losers who just sit behind their little screens and make demands to satisfy their own libido.

Please, don't let it bother you. It really isn't worth it. True friends would not demand ANYTHING from someone. Best to do as Venray said....ignore them. Plenty of other friends to be made around here.
