Regarding the original poster, he took an approach to this kink similar to how alcoholics would utilize AA. Though the vocal majority seems offended by his approach, I agree with those who have accepted that he addressed something that was a problem with HIS life. Tickling is not a problem for everyone, and I'm not going to argue the semantics of all/many/most/some, etc. I can't deny the possibility that members here HATE having this kink. I'm not gonna feel insulted, or take his approach as a backhanded, judgmental offer. Objectively, he merely said, "Hey, this was a problem FOR ME because X. If it's a problem for YOU, TOO, this is how I handled it, and I feel much better." He made an offer for those who share his dilemma. Though I'm of the mindset that that there's nothing evil about my kink, I'm not going to judge him for his personal circumstances.
One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Also, ike4, bear in mind that throughout history, whenever people suggested ideas that went against conventionally accepted views, there was always a vocal majority that would try to crush them, or their ideas. 😉
