Killing a fetish

Who? Me? I drink Scotch and Cream Sherry,..... but I like a chaser with body. And let's not overlook anti-oxidants, hmm?

Scotch! Wait... What was the theme of this thread again?

Oh, killing individuality... Not going to happen OP!

Cheers with Pied! :gbtoast:

I like the fact that after 6 pages of indepth debating, this thread has ended on the topic of drinking.
Cheers TMF! :toast:

Brandi always does a ass plant on the ground... Zac! Where are you? 😛
No way, I handle my alcohol way better than Zac! Though I did knock him unconscious for a few minutes last week when we were both drunk. Hit him with a door by mistake =P

I have never been so insulted! Some of these comments are bordering on downright abusive. I would like to thank thatsecretchord for countering some of the more hurtful comments. The comments about my wife were not cool.

I am so distressed by some comments that I am lost for words to explain how upset i feel.

I appologise if I offended anyone with my post. The whole reason for the post was to help people who were trapped like i was and wanted help escaping. If you are not in that situation, than the post was never directed at you.

As for the nausia comment, with all sexual associations removed, tickle bondage looks like torture, human beings bound and tormented. I know it is consentual, but it still distresses me to see. I wasnt condemning anyone except myself and I dont judge anyone but myself.

I guess I forgive those who insulted me, but please consider my feelings before you comment in future.

First, this is the internet. Don't let the opinions and brutal honesty of others make you genuinely upset, as stated before, this is a diverse place with a variety of opinions and not everyone sugar-coats their comments.

The nausea comment: Thank you for clarifying. That probably would have saved a lot of criticism in the first place had you been clear about what you meant.

And also, an honest question - if you are "over the fetish", why are you still coming to this site? That's playing with fire. Congrats on convincing yourself you are over your fetish, etc. etc., but there is no point in coming here and posting a controversial topic and then getting your "feelings hurt" over it when people don't agree with you. Not trying to be rude to you, just stating how I see it. If you're "not into tickling" anymore, I see no reason why you would be still posting here.

I didnt intend to come back, I dont want to play with fire. I came back because I felt bad that I had done nothing to help people who might have been trapped in the same miserable situation as me. I guess I felt I should share as honestly as I could how I got out in the hope of helping someone else, and from some comments it seems I may have been of some help to at least a few people.

I can understand how the fetish can get in the way of life, but I love tickling and if I killed my fetish it would be killing a huge part of myself and who I am. If I kill it I wouldn't be me any more!!! Besides life without my fetish sounds soooo boring! Each to their own I guess. Congrats ike4

You sit upon your high pedestal acting as if you can do no wrong. Meanwhile, in the bowels of your own mind...your fetish is starting to seep into your unconscious mind. As you think it is gone...it festers and will start to eat away at you because you are foolish enough to believe suppression kills the urge. It does not, and it will make a dramatic come back in your life.

You lack the self control. It is a pity. You play with fire everyday that you think your fetish is gone when its just suppressed. You need to understand that it is a part of you and what you enjoy. It take will power to control it. Something you seem to lack.

Being a born-again Christian won't change what you enjoy. It is hard wired into your head. It isn't something that can just go away. If you truly embrace the religion then you should know that all your sins are forgiven in the eyes of Christ, and you should not live in shame for who you are and what you like.

meangry - you must get yourself a 10 LOL (referring to your post about 8's and 9's)

Ike4 - go watch a few tickling clips and quit crying.. You may think that you're this great savior, trying to help lost souls here, but 99% of people here believe that you need massive help... You said your piece, great, now go away and pray or do what you do.

Regarding the original poster, he took an approach to this kink similar to how alcoholics would utilize AA. Though the vocal majority seems offended by his approach, I agree with those who have accepted that he addressed something that was a problem with HIS life. Tickling is not a problem for everyone, and I'm not going to argue the semantics of all/many/most/some, etc. I can't deny the possibility that members here HATE having this kink. I'm not gonna feel insulted, or take his approach as a backhanded, judgmental offer. Objectively, he merely said, "Hey, this was a problem FOR ME because X. If it's a problem for YOU, TOO, this is how I handled it, and I feel much better." He made an offer for those who share his dilemma. Though I'm of the mindset that that there's nothing evil about my kink, I'm not going to judge him for his personal circumstances.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Also, ike4, bear in mind that throughout history, whenever people suggested ideas that went against conventionally accepted views, there was always a vocal majority that would try to crush them, or their ideas. 😉

I don't think that's what he was saying I think he just came across wrong. But listen its good that this place works for you but there's a big difference between being accepted here and being accepted in the real world. I think there's a lot of members here that hate the fetish. Wether it's because they don't understand it fully or they just wish they didn't have it. Doesn't mean anyone doesn't have the right to be here or should um...GTFO

'S all about acceptance right...thought it was when I signed up anyway...

I never said they don't have the right to be here. I'm questioning why they would WANT to be here if their hatred and loathing of it runs so deep. I hate the colour pink. I dont wear it, paint my room with it, or associate myself with it in any way. Why? Because I hate it.

The issue of acceptance you raise is an interesting one. I am well aware of the rejection that takes place in the real world and that is precisely why I take offence to coming on here (a place i feel accepted and safe enough to express my fetish healthily) to be confronted with someone who claims to be part of our tight knit community when it suits his sexual fantasies but then denounces everything we stand for in one misguided post. The OP that is, not yourself.

And I find it unusual that so many guys on here have no trouble finding tickling partners or convert so many girls over. I want to be rid of this fetish because I can't get turned on without tickling a girl and I've never found a like-minded girl in real-life to have a relationship with. I don't think loving tickling is nauseating or repugnant but it should sure has limited my real-life ability to have a relationship. I lurked on here for nearly four years before I signed on to get the perspective of others who feel the same way as I do. I'm not in a relationship so I also want to look at clips and pictures. If I ever find my tickling sole mate I will happily GTFO.

See, your situation makes more sense to me. You enjoy the fetish, it turns you on. The only reason you feel like you need to be rid of it is because you havn't found someone who indulges this side of you yet. I can almost guarantee that if you found a nice woman into tickling (or willing to experiment with it) you'd be doing backflips about how cool it is to be into something like tickling. You wouldn't leave either, it'd only make your connection here stronger.

well, the point is easy. someone feels overtaken by the fetish, someother not. same way as someone could feel overtaken by the urge of have vanilla sex. the point is not that the fetish is bad itself but that some people can have troubles cause of it, as this guy had.
so no prob if he wanted to quit the fetish, if he feels better than it was the right choice. only wish that this can last long

anyway honestly it seems that he had more problems about masturbating himself too much to enjoy something else

Nothing written in this thread has made more sense than this. Well put man 🙂

I'm glad you brought up the comparison to AA. Do you see alcoholics exercising their new found self control by surrounding themselves with wine and beer and shots and strip clubs and hotel mini bars?? No. They change their environment so it is no longer an antecedent to their undesirable behaviour. Thanks for proving my point. If tickling and tickle related porn is a problem for someone here, like a serious mental problem that interferes with normal functioning, they shouldnt be coming here to exacerbate the problem. It just goes against logic.

Deadly, I tried to quote you for reply, but my phone made it difficult to eliminate the replies to others. Anyway, yes recovering alcoholics use complete aversion to deal with their problem. I remember how frustrating it was listening to a family member complain about family gatherings and having to be around others who are drinking. It frustrated me, because I didn't understand that level of temptation as it applies to drinking. I'm honestly not a fan of the mindset, because I PERSONALLY feel that to beat ANY addiction one must be able to be in the presence of said addiction, and be able to say, "Oh look, it's X. Do I want some? ...Nah." The AA mindset is more like admitting defeat and giving something power over you, while committing to avoid it and hope the bully will just leave you alone for the rest of your life--or excuse me, TODAY. Anyway, I digress. Should he have visited if he's averse? I speculate that the Christian mentality compelled him to offer help to others who feel the way he does, though I don't necessarily think many feel that they are in a burning building and require saving. There may be some who can benefit. Perhaps he also tested himself to see how he feels. If he feels he's doing a good thing, more power to him. I won't hold it against him. He's not affecting me.

First of all everyone is wrong, the butterscotch fairies are the ones we should all be pointing our fingers at. They make the taffies which become stuck in our teeth, I mean seriously WTF is up with that. They have no consideration whatsoever. Secondly, we all know BradiElizabeth and deadlywiffeathr are in collusion with one another, trying to make us all become girl scouts and sell scrap metal. I know your agendas and no I will not wear your hats. Sometimes a pink flamingo is more than a friendly drink while scuba diving. Thirdly, who ever said the top of Mount Everest was made out of cotton candy is a liar because I planted a chocolate truffle tree under my pillow. Finally, I keep Jack Nicholson in manila envelope just in case someone asks for my birth certificate, honestly who says no to Jack.

Okay, this is absolutely fucking absurd nonsense because it is I that keep Jack Nicholson in my manilla envelope for just such occasions. You are an imposter, Sir. Take this ostrich egg and immediately seek out a Watusi bride of modest stature.

Very truly yours,
Col. Welson Joseph Bradley, Mrs.

:laughhard: Welcome to the TMF, Alex Jones.

Those two ladies are the New World Order... 😛

Alright,.... alright,.... alright!

Imagination, folks. Picture it,....

This thread is tied to a rough post in front of a blood-spattered stucco wall somewhere in South or Central America.

(Piper to Thread🙂 "Cigarette, amigo? Do you wish a blindfold?"

(sound of a BIC lighter)

(Thread🙂 "Uhh,... No, I guess not."

(Piper to Thread🙂 "Then do you have any final words?"

(Thread🙂 "Well, yes, actually. I think I should be allowed to clarify my,.............."

(Blam!!)

If this doesn't work, I'm going to try cave drawings, next.

Hey ike4,
I'm a lurker here myself, and I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but as an ex hardcore christian myself, I felt the need to address your post. I'm not going to attack your religion or tell you it within itself is unhealthy......but perhaps you may want to reexamine your version of it. What your doing sounds very psychologically and sexually unhealthy. Sounds like the crap and self-loathing I used to put myself through. I've known plenty of christians (including one pastor I can think of) who didn't find a problem with masturbating and we can debate all day as to whether it's immoral in a biblical sense. But the scientific facts? It's healthy and normal for someone to choke the old bishop bro (as long as it's not done compulsively). I'd encourage you to do your own research outside of religious sources, to see if I'm right for yourself. But take it from someone who's done something very similar in the past, it isn't going to work forever, and your opening yourself up for a lot of fucking hurt doing what your doing. Because you see; the problem isn't your fetish, it's your sexual addiction and how your using it to cope. Personally I feel you need to learn to be okay with who you are, that guilt your feeling isn't needed. No offense intended here, I'm just calling it the way I see it in the most polite way possible. Best of luck to you bro.
