Lees and Lers: Men vs Women

So on average, is it true that men tend to be more the 'Ler and women tend to be more the 'Lee or is that an incorrect assessment? Through all of my forum searching and posting / reading, I've noticed that men tend to talk more about being the 'ler and women tend to talk more about being a submissive 'lee. What are your thoughts? Is it simply the hardwired nature of how men and women are?

Pretty much...though the majority of the responses you will receive after mine will be "it depends on the person" and "gender is irrelevant" and a million other paraphrases.

Yes, men tend to lean toward being a 'ler sometimes, but you might be surprised at how many men consider themselves 'lees or will simply be a switch to get both sides. The whole aspect of losing control under the hands of a woman they already find attractive is arousing for them.
In reverse, women will also enjoy being a 'ler because of the power it gives them, being smaller for the most part, than any man they might get hold of is a thrill in and of itself.
In any case, I think there are equal amounts of men who like to 'lee for the women as there are women who like to 'ler men. Then there are the switches, like myself who can do either, partially due to this reason. I don't necessarily think men and women usually find themselves being dominant or submissive respectively just because of gender roles.

Yea i feel like there is some truth to the men as ler women as lee dynamic, but in general it doesn't really matter. Like me for example, ler, but the idea of being some girls lee is hot to me for that exact reason...like im usually the aggresive/dominant one in the bedroom, but its hot if a girl just attacks me and goes at it haha pretty much the same deal

In my case, nothing turns me on more than being pursued/tickled/sexually dominated by a woman or several women that I'm attracted to.

In my 33 years on this planet, I've discovered that most men aren't wired the way I am, and most women aren't wired to pursue or sexually dominate men, except as a way of occasionally turning the tables on her man. When a woman glances at me for a couple of seconds and then looks away, I know that if I ever want to get anywhere with her, I'm going to have to approach her, even though my "wiring" makes it so that I would far prefer that she pursue me.

In my honest opinion..I don't think they are many full 100% 'Lers--as in they don't switch. At all.
I tend to find most men and woman will switch eventually--although they maybe prefer Lerring over Leeing and visa versa.

Thanks for all the insight everyone! I guess with my searches and findings it was just a pattern I was finding in those areas I was looking. It definitely seems as if everyone has at least a little bit of a switch in them, but I definitely agree that there are quite a few guys (me included) who enjoy being the lee to get the attention from the girl and girls enjoy being the ler because they can fight back against the guy with a sense of euphoric control 😀

I would say in general there are more men than women in every fetish. But within the fetish, I would say lees and lers are evenly distributed througout the men and women who are into it.

For a very long time sexual studies operated under the (wrong) assumption that male and female sexuality operated under different psychological motivators. As a result most professionals tended to hold that fetishes and what caused them were a male-centric issue, and that the rare woman that evidenced one was the statistical exception due to odd circumstance.

But as noted, the premise was incorrect. Women tended to hide or deny fetish behavior farm more strongly then males, due to the conventions of society, and other such peer factors. In short. Good girls didn't have fetishes. And everyone wants to be a good girl.

Over the past 40 years this social pressure and instinct to hide female fetish wants has slowly eroded, due to the feminist movement, the sexual revolution, and finally the internet. All of which acted as strong modifiers on both male and female sexual behavior and norm viewing.

With each passing year female sexuality has been starting to mirror male sexuality more. A higher percent of women admit to fetishes. And so on for other aspects.

So the number of visible female Lers has been on the uptick.

Now traditional roles and how people view themselves still influence behavior and fetish formation on their base levels, so we still see a tilt toward females in the submissive role in many sexual aspects. Just as we see a similar shortage in submissive males (another group in rising size as it become more okay to admit to being of the submissive orientation as a male)

It's believed that in the long run Dom/sub percentages will stabilize at a close balance.

And as a poster noted above, it's rare for someone to be 100% dom or sub, it's often a mix.

Dom-sub orientation is like a line with a slider on it. It's a mix. But that is beyond this post 🙂

I think that is usually the case on here. In real life, I have only tickle tortured one girl and she likes being the submissive one. Fine by me hehe.
