Mom Bleeding Heavily, Leaving, For A While

My mom started coughing rather large amounts of blood late this afternoon. We spoke to Dr B, who advised us to come up to the hospital in NJ ASAP. We will be going tonight. Our regular driver says he is too tired to take us, so we will be taking a cab. Supposedly Dr B says they will want to begin treatment immediately, and not wait until Tuesday the 31st, the day they were to originally begin.

I wont have computer access up there, as I posted before, so I dont know how long I will be gone, or offline.

Anyhow, just wanted to let everyone know.

Thanks. The bleeding isnt "severe", but it is heavy enough to warrant the trip to NJ. I dont know if I'll be gone a day, a week, or what not. Last time, between the two hospitals, in Lancaster, and NJ, I was gone ten days. Its also storming here, so we will have to ride up 150 miles in the storm. I expect we'll leave here between 9 and 10pm Eastern, and will probably get to the hospital around midnight or 1am.

I'm so sorry that your mom is needing this emergency care. I will be thinking about you and mom during her treatment. :redheart:

Sounds like a 911 call to me! In any case I'm very sorry to hear this and hope that she is better soon.
 
Hi unit.

We're going to take a taxi to the hospital in NJ. We wont call 911 here unless God Forbid its gets really bad. We have to see what this is.

Thanks for your prayers, Ann, yes, it is terrible. I've given up planning anything with this anymore. It seems like every time we make a plan for treatment, either weather, or an emergency, throws us off.
