NEW! ~ Rysa in TickleLand

What a cool teamwork in reviving a classic theme (of 1905 to 1927... Thank you for such information). It's refreshing to see/read this piece. The "slumber" here made me imagine a lot.

A very compelling concept and great teamwork effort - what's not to love. The story and artwork fit together like a glove. A very nice pairing 🙂

...i won't lie... Myriads drew most of this... I just colored the hedgefluffs with a broken crayon.

Bah I drew nothing. I only bang on words with various blunt tools until they fit.

My thanks to everyone who has had kind words to say about this project and enjoyed it.

C.A.B. and I will be working on more of Rysa's adventures. No real schedule, as the strips are time intensive to write, but much much more so on the art side for C.A.B. I >think< he likes the challenge. But in any case they need to be fit around other work and life bits. So they will appear as we manage.

This is absolutely incredible. This may be one of my favorite tickling comics of all time. Bravo! More!

Very good artwork. Excellent concept; I like everything about it and look forward to seeing more. Rysa looks a little like a Shary Flenniken character to me, which just adds more sexiness to the image.

You have a good eye. Shary Flenniken was one of the late 60's "Air Pirates" who produced some of the ground breaking under ground comics of the period, and they drew their influences from many sources, but the classical newspaper strips and animation formats were one of them, including Windsor McCay, who influenced many of them, Also McCay did political cartoons also, and Shary produced a lot of them in her life, and I have no doubt that she was aware of the major figures who illustrated them in the past, and was influenced by them.

Myriads

Terrific stuff, Myriads and CAB.

Everyone here said it much better than I could...but this is phenomenal work. Just wanted to pop by and tip my hat at ya.

I'm with The Bandito: I can't say anything that hasn't been mentioned already. Mostly because your talent left me speechless. Such amazing artwork.

I am loft to the company of giants. Thank you, Gentlemen. Soup for you both.

Well I make the Romita comparison because when he took over Spider-Man after Ditko Stan Lee asked him if he could copy Ditko's style and gradually work in his own technique. Since this is being compared to somebody else style, and you've more then proven your ability to alter techniques, you've earned it.

I think there just may be a few more in the future. Stay tuned.
