How do you feel about the Mets not making the playoffs compared to expectations?

I feel sorry for my friends who are Mets fans, but I don't really care.

Does it upset you when Mets fans, during inter-league games against the Yankees, chant, "Yankees suck!"?

Yes I just worry about my own team but some fans seem to concentrate on other teams.

What do you think of the weather this month of September?

It was a remarkably excellent September with above average temperature and not much rain. ☀️

What kind of weather do you expect for October?

I expect a roller coaster but overall some warm days still and then some shots of autumn coolness but overall dry and relatively mild for October.

It has improved a lot since I was a child, but it is still undependable.

Dodgers. I hate Philadelphia teams like Boston due to location/rivalry.

I will relax today and spend all day tomorrow with Goddess Shelly.

What's the worst injury you've ever had?

In 1957 I had a playground accident (smashing my mouth into the vertical metal pole that held up the basketball backboard) that broke off one of my front teeth exposing the nerve. That was not only very painful, but also required a root canal and a gold crown.

Women's beach volleyball. It ought to be much more popular. I went to a women's beach volleyball tournament at the Chelsea Piers about ten years ago.

Today, I will get a prescription refill, pick up a package at a UPS store, and shop at H-Mart.

Do people at work sympathize with you after your fall?

Yes, especially when my face looked like I was something out of a Halloween movie people were asking me right away what happened to me? Only one lady in my building had a funny not so sympathetic quote "That's what you get for running."

What's the odds you think I go back to running when my ankle hopefully fully heals?

I think it is 100-1 that you do resume running because running is a big part of your life.

What makes a Major League pitcher have a brain freeze and throw home when he had an easy out at first base which would have ended the inning with no runs scored?

I think nerves probably make you freeze.

What was your favorite graduation memory from any ceremony you attended?

I remember my father crying with joy when my brother got his MD degree in 1971. My father had wanted to go to medical school, but bigotry prevented that after he attended CCNY as an undergraduate. Seeing his son do it was highly emotional for him.

Who was the invited speaker at your college graduation?

I forgot his name but he was a very successful business person who attended my college 20 years earlier.

Who's the one person you remember from your college classes that you had fun with?

 

[Edge]

This kid I went to community college with and talk several classes with. I always wonder what happened to him or how he's doing (hopefully well).

Who's one person you met that you were disappointed in meeting?

Ernest Borgnine. I met him in a restaurant in L.A. one evening in about 2010. He was a real jerk. I had admired him for his performance in "Marty."

Who's one person you were happy to meet?

Someone I worked with for a few years. My first impression of him was he seemed so dull and boring and he turned out to be an extremely funny person. You can't judge a book by it's cover.
