Scariest movie of all time?

Ilsa...

Ever seen "Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS" that will make you afraid.

3) Dawn of the Dead - I am not into the whole "if it came out first it's automatically better" thing. The Beatles may have set the standard, but there are plenty of bands that are better. With that said, I choose Dawn over Night. Maybe it's the amazing technicolor color, or the mall full of zombies. Maybe it's some blockhead getting the upper half of his head lopped off by a helicopter blade. Don't ask me to explain myself, this is a rad movie. Thanks for the great makeup work Tom Savini.

Both Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead were cool, but their was some social relavince to Night that Dawn didn't have. Night of the Living Dead showed a black male taking charge of the situation where he would have been the first killed of in any other film. He did die in the movie, and that sort of ticked me off, cause he was the last guy left in the house and that dumb ass red neck cop ends up ordering one of his guys to shoot him when they don't even know who or what he is. They just see his shadow in the window of the house.

I rented this after hearing how it's a favorite of several directors like Rob Zombie and Tarantino and after viewing Zombie's fake trailer, "Werewolf Women of the SS". I watched the movie and I was pretty disgusted. Now I will admit it's very well made for being shot in 9 days but this flick is too much to stomach. I sat there sick and grossed out but I did make it to the end and immediately sent this awful movie back to Netflix. I just don't get it, I never found the movie entertaining. I don't know, maybe they saw something I didn't. It's easy to see why a lot of crew and actors worked on this thing with pseudonyms. Yet, at the same time I would probably watch Werewolf Women of the SS...

Yeah, but ya know better of the folks that would do "Werewolf Women of the S.S." That whole set of trailers were excellent. 🙂

Pee Wee's Big Adventure. The single scariest movie of all time. Possibly second only to every barney movie.

Well if Rob Zombie liked it you should have known it was fucked up. That guy's Holloween was the biggest botching of a cool Horror flick ever. I only got the Ilsa box set becaus I saw pics of Dian Thorn (I think it's Dian Thorn) in s magazine called Celebrity Skin. I was under the beliefe that it was a soft core porn spoof, I had no clue it was what it ended up being. During seceral scene's I had to switch to the special comentary, because of the screaming. Seeing Dian nude was great, but I could have gone the rest of my life with out seeing that movie and not felt a sence of loss.

I thought The Strangers was pretty good, definitely worth renting.

AMC's Fear Fest horror movie marathon is terrible. Jeepers Creepers, Pet Semetary, Constantine, Halloween & Friday the 13th sequels, Freddy vs. Jason.. what are they thinking?

Jeepers Creepers could be better in the middle, but many people, myself included, applaud the first half hour and final scene as some of the BEST horror ever. Especially if you saw it in the theater. :manicd:

I didn't check to see if someone said Event Horizon but that's my vote.

Yeah I bought that one.. I read people describing it as 'Hellraiser in space', so I had to get it. It wasn't bad. The scene where they see the video of the previous crew was pretty freaky.
