If her D/s relationship were with a man instead of a woman, would any of you be implying she's "into girls?" I've always thought brighteye's relationship with Lee was unique, but I've never heard it was sexual. Besides, last I checked, it's really their business what goes on between them.

What I don't understand brighteyes, is even though you got the creepy vibe (and I'm very familiar with it too) is why did you tell him about Lee anyway? There are things about me that don't get discussed on the first or maybe even 5th date. And there are some things about me that NEVER get discussed no matter how many dates or if we're in a full-blown relationship. But that's just how I roll; I don't believe that any one person needs to know everything about me.

Based on your OP, I'm not sure if vanilla's your flavor; you might have to find someone unique who understands and accepts your D/s with Lee and has no problem with it......you're going to get issues in the vanilla world with it IMO.

Dating can be a lot of fun... But in order for it to be fun you have to go on enough dates to let statistical averages kick in. Most people, even people on the internet, are normal, decent folks that you can have a fun time with even if you don't end up being romantically interested in them.

I've gone on a TON of first dates in my life, and, while some of them were awful, most of them were fun, even though in the vast majority of cases I didn't end up calling and/or going out with that same person again. Even if the person you end up going out with isn't too great, you can still often make it worthwhile by trying out a new restaurant or something. 🙂

See, this is the attitude I find troubling. Since only Amanda was there, we're all expected to accept her judgement of this guy, because "she knows best."

Maybe you're content to let other people do your labeling for you, but I prefer to make my own judgements. You're right. I wasn't there. But neither were you. And as far as I'm concerned Amanda's date is innocent until his guilt is established; which from everything I've read so far in this thread, hasn't happened.

And as long as we're talking creepy, you tell me which is more creepy. A guy who hopes for some physical interaction on a first date, or a girl who expects any kinky guy she dates to be 100% dom except when he yields her to her OTHER dom who happens to be female but that doesn't in any way shape or form make her a lesbian oh no.
