soft soles??

hey all,

just wondering if anyone has any tips on keeping the soles of the feet nice and soft?? lately my feet have lost their "mojo" so to speak perhaps because its summer over here and i've been walking around bare foot alot?? (calm down lers reading this lol). any help on getting the softness back would be appreciated 🙂

Easiest thing to do is put on lots of good lotion on your feet and then put a pair of socks on for a half hour or so. Do this every day and your feet will be super soft in no time.

Also, if you can afford it, and aren't too ticklish, pedicures work wonders! I, too, go barefoot much of the time, and they make my soles soft, smooth, and sensitive.

Use olive oil and avocado oils on the feet a bedtime and in the morning, then put thick white cotton socks on... it really works.

what i do is use a pumice stone while in the shower. then i put on vaseline, yes regular old vaseline, and then put baggies on your vaseline covered feet. then put on some thick socks and kick it for a while. it's cheap, the baggies keep the vaseline on your feet and doesn't let it get absorbed in your socks. it works wonders. i usually do this before i go to bed so that it can soak in all night. good luck.

I use a foot emoryboard and a few lotions. But the ones I like the most are Toe the Line foot scrub from bath and body works and Johnson's baby lotion makes them baby soft. But filing your feet really helps to thin out the skin and make it more sensetive. They usually have 2 sides. One rougher and one that smooths them out after.

My best advice?

Avoid running around barefoot. I know it's comfy but by nature your feet have to produce excess skin as a protective barrier when you do this. (nasty) If nothing else, at least wear sox...

Softer Soles ...a few products and suggestions:

This gal I just started dating has such soft ticklish soles ( infact I just posted pictures in the non-tickling image forum under the heading Asian Soles if you want to see) and I asked her how...

she said exactly what Steph advocates..She never goes barefoot.

I've been fortunate to have been with women who indulge my fetishes and I can say that going barefoot is always an issue unless you go for weekly pedicures. I keep a paraffin bath at home as a special treat which will definitely absorb thick emollients into your soles.

Check out these products as well:

Microplane foot file- developed by the makers of professional kitchen graters- seriously it's amazing and sanitary.

Bag Balm salve- VERY VERY thick

Egyptian Magic- You'll find this at whole foods and you'll find many uses for it.

thanks 🙂 also if you put the vaseline on every night the less you need to use the pumice stone. and i agree with steph about the not going barefoot. i never go barefoot cuz my feet are so soft and sensitive.

To make your soles soft, keep your feet clean, put lotion on them (or have someone put the lotion on for you), and once the lotion absorbs into the feet, put some socks on for a while. Walking around barefooted is not a good idea. I always remind my girlfriend about that.

hmmm it seems the tip of the day is not to go barefoot lol. ive started to get around in socks now instead. is this any better or is it just as bad?? i have a feeling its alot better, but im usually wrong when i get a hunch lol.

I would recommend a professional pedicure for the heavy lifting. 😉 Then for regular maintenance...

I scrub my feet with one of these a couple of times a week, especially before a tickle date. It's like a pumice stone, but since it's actually a bar of soap with seeds and grains embedded in it, it's self-sudsing, which gives it a nice feel.

I've noticed a great change in sensitivity since I started using it regularly! A vibrating feather, or even a vibrating toy, used to tickle me the most. Now, just the point of a feather between my toes, or even along my soles (which weren't that sensitive before), drives me crazy! 😛 Anyway, I follow the scrubbing with a bunch of shea butter moisturizer before I go to bed.

Also, I do go barefoot a lot, but only indoors. Outdoors is just too painful. When I'm outside, it's flip-flop season for about nine months out of the year! I don't feel like this pattern of behavior toughens up my feet too much, and it's still nice and comfortable in warm weather. 🙂

I agree that a professional pedicure would be best to get things started.

To keep things nice and soft though, you can soak your feet to get them nice and soft then use a foot-file to get rid of any dry skin or calluses that might have built up since the pedicure. After this, use a very liberal amount of lotion. It's okay if the lotion isn't fully absorbed yet. Top it off with a nice pair of cotton socks to lock in the lotion.

I've also slathered a girl's feet in lotion, then put nylons on, with socks over those. Then a pair of sneakers. The end result was painfully soft soles which were deliciously ticklish at the end of the day.

I go barefoot all the time in the house, but put something on when I go outside. I hate shoes and consider them mini prisons for the feet.

yea i would say rub some lotion or oil on the soles of your feet everyday, and try to wear soft flip-flops or something to keep them off rough surfaces

just use hemp oil and put on feet every day or night and use loation with bags and cover feet then with sockto keep baggie in place later kyle
