I saw this story a few days ago. That just goes to show you that not everyone needs to look like a model to have some serious talent. Good for her.
She has an awesome voice but she won't be commercially sucessful. Why? The music executives will complain:
She's not in her teens or early 20s
She weighs more than 59 pounds
She hasn't been arrested
She has no tattoos or piecings
She hasn't been in rehab
She hasn't done a Disney t.v. series
She didn't have any plastic surgery at 13 years old.
Aren't these the qualifications for todays pop stars??
Drew

I'm getting tired of some idiots acting as though this lady is hideously deformed or something. She needs a cuter hairstyle and a bit of eyebrow trimming and that's really it; she's an adorable and spunky little 'normal' lady and it's awesome she's going places with her singing![]()
I saw that this morning. Amazing voice!!! I loved the look on Simons face you could tell he had dismissed her straight off. Then BLAM! SUPERSHOCK!
The sad part is she'll never be a "HUGE" recording star because she doesn't look like Britney Spears or Beyonce or some other "Hot Chick" even though her voice is on par with any of the great singers out there now (and probably 1,000 X more then most of the pop bimbo's).

Her voice is too good for that 'huge pop star' nonsense anyways. Musical theatre is different; like Patti Lupone and Elaine Paige and other incredible singer/actresses, Miss Boyle was born for Broadway and even at 48 she has time for an amazing career on stage and recording without having to prance around half nekkid and lip sync like Britney and Bouncy![]()
