While I think a small, concealed Tramp stamp is kind of sexy, I'm not a fan of Tattoos. I view the female body as a sacred temple and tattoos are tawdry graphitti and tagging. There is nothing more beautiful, awe-inspiring and pure than a woman's sweet, smooth flesh.

Tera Patrick was a goddess without tattoos, but now... Meh.

No on tramp stamps and the idea of chinese symbols or tribals makes me laugh every time, but I think some nice original art can reflect on a woman very well and make her all the more alluring. There's something about a permanent statement that I really enjoy. Not vines around an ankle. How about a flag to show your pride in your heritage? What about a quote from a transcendentalist you've actually read?

They can be ugly, but when used effectively, they can be among the most beautiful parts of a woman.

I'm 50/50 on this --- I agree it often does appear cheap & attention-grabbing rather than artistic, original & cool ----

and a LOT of people do regret it later, either because

Angelina Jolie is Drop-Dead Gorgeous (imho) and her tats are --- what only someone that thin & DDG could get away with (!!) 😛

Jolie is over raited, and hasn't been hot since she did Gia. After that she stopped eating. Mind you she is still a good actress, but the look is gone. The women in the above look like trash, and will be very sorry they did that to there bodies when they are in there 30's and the only person who is interested in them washed up rockers like Tommy Lee.

I don't know why folks care that much what's on other folks' bodies. Generally, tattoos are interesting, and tend to tell you something about the person, so I like 'em. Even if what they tell you is only "I like tattoos" or "I got drunk and my buddies paid to get this put on me permanently".

Sleeves are interesting, but unless they're loaded with imagery specific to the wearer, the notion of getting sleeved is just as generic as any other generic tattoo option, but if you're a wannabe yakuza, what's it to me?

Why a tattoo placed above someone's butt (a "tramp stamp") should be looked at positively or negatively again seems silly except with regard to content. But then, if someone wants something generic, I reckon it's their right.

It's rare that I've seen a woman whose physical beauty is diminished by a tattoo (or several), in my opinion.

I never really thought tattoos made someone attractive or ugly, their general appearance and demeanor did. It's sort of like that commercial where the girl walks in front of her boyfriend and says, "Do these pants make me look fat?" And he said, "No, your fat does." I usually like to look at them and hear the story behind them.

I like tatoo`s, but from a practical viewpoint I would urge caution before covering your arms, or legs with ink. In todays job market you need every advantage you can get in getting hired, especially in an office environment. Last summer I did a remodel job for a contractor in a high profile law firm. One of the carpenters was told to wear a long sleeve shirt during working hours or leave the jobsite. You can say its unfair, but in todays economy the company clearly has the advantage and I don`t see things changing anytime soon. Just sayin.

I personally would never get a tattoo. I've never seen one I thought came even close to looking cool. Tattoo's on guys send the message, "Hey look how street tough I am! Be impressed!"

On girls they seem to say, "I'm a slut who hasn't graduated high school and got knocked up out of wedlock. I now live in Jim-Bob's double wide and collect welfare."
