Tatoos on the girls

99% of the time it makes an other wise beautiful woman look cheep and sleazy. On other women (lets call them "average looking") it makes them look desperate for attention. Most people I've met with tat's say they wish they'd never gotten them, except for when it signifies something, like their child's birth or their parents death. I know one guy who had the date of his father inked on his shoulder, because he was killed in the country of his origin (he never told me where that was). If I was going to get a Tat it would be a support the troops ribbon on my forearm, but that's about it.

I agree with this to!

I only can talk for myself and I love tats (and I have a lot of them), especially like the ones of Kat von D. She's juz too hot. And the girls from TA with tats, like amber and Bambi are really cute and sexy too. I love them and I love it when the girls don't look like a stupid blond bimbo, but that's only my oppinion.

I agree. Here's an example of how a tattoo can really detract from said hotness:

<marquee> What the hell was she thinking? </Marquee>

That's her version of this painting:

Big Tattoos or many Pircings, especially at the private Parts are defentivie a turn-off for me.
A flawless skin is such a beautytiful thing and shouldnt be painted or pirced.
Why not using Rings, Necklaces or Ink that u can get off if u want?
Thats the better Way in my eyes.

Thanks guys ... seems more are lovers of tats than not. Interesting ... I did think it would be about 50-50. Thanks for all your replies. 🙂

Yupyup. I think they're awesome man. I just kinda wish that personal opinions were stated as such, and not a fact shared by the masses.

Then again, the cool thing is, a lot of girls with tats wouldn't give a flying shit what people think of them, which makes them that much cooler. It's a creative way to express themselves. Yup, some go waaay far off the deep end, but for the most part, they certainly add a little RAWR.

Your opinion. Of course. Not fact. Yes? 🙂

Oh it's fact, it's a fact that I find most tatoos to be grose. Some women with great bodies compleatly distroy themselves by covering there arms and back with ink. So to me is is a turn off, thus making it a fact as well as an opinion.

The only fact is that it is your opinion. No other facts are present.

I believe that's what I said... all be it in an, unnecessarily long winded way. This is a thread based on opinion. There is no scientific way to decide if something is appealing or appalling on this subject. The truth is that a certain percentage (if not the majority) of women who get Tats crave attention, and the ink gets them attention. Excessive Tattooing makes a woman look dirty, and there are certain men who are drawn to dirty looking women.

Cherries on the shoulder blade, Butter fly on the ankle, something on the shoulder OK, but when a woman coats her body with ink it simply becomes ugly (as well as asinine, and IS something they WILL regret when they are older.

I find tattoos to be rather interesting, I don't have any, however I have been contemplating on getting something with serious meaning to me, but in a place for my eyes only and not for the world to see,I have to be mindful of that simply because of my profession.

You agree that the only fact is that you have an opinion. Then your next sentence begins with "the truth is" and you go on to list a bunch of subjective things. You don't understand why people doubt your ability to distinguish between fact and opinion?

I absolutely love tattoo's on women (and men as well). There is something that is riveting about them and it's almost like a game to try and figure out what the hell the image is supposed to be at times. I will be getting at least one soon.

*high fives*

My opinion is that tattoos make a woman look sleazy and trailer trashy.

I did know one girl who got a very realistic tattoo of a sea shell on her inner thigh.

It's so realistic that when you put it up to your ear, you can smell the ocean. :shock2:

Okay, y'know what? This is wrong.
I'm not a woman, so I'm not a part of the topic, but I think, regardless of gender, your belief that people will inevitably regret tattoos is terribly misinformed. My chest piece is almost finished, I have a half sleeve planned for my right arm, and as long as I can find designs that are meaningful to me, I'm sure I'll keep going. You can bet your ass I'm never going to regret it for a second, and I'm sure a great many people feel the same, male or female.

I want a half sleeve soooooo bad! Do it, It'll be sexaaayyyy! 😀

Tramp Stamps are the ultimate in sleazy tattoos on a woman.

That and the obligatory barbed wire (or something) around the arm (tough), or the cutesy wootsie widdle bunny wabbit on the upper back shoulder. Ugh!

The rose or heart wrapped in barbed wire or with a sword piercing and someone's name on a banner is also the ultimate in "picking it off the wall because I have no imagination" trailer park bad tattoo.

Some will say WOW others will say ICK 😛 I admit I flip-flop here....

I'm 50/50 on this --- I agree it often does appear cheap & attention-grabbing rather than artistic, original & cool ----

and a LOT of people do regret it later, either because
(they get fat... or sag.... 🙄 and a tattoo is NOT appealling
when it's distorted by cheesecake.... :xlime: )

But *SOME people ---- who better stay in freakin' great shape  ---- do look really good with artistic ink expressions ----

<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl3.glitter-graphics.net/pub/678/678993w6iup09xpk.jpg" width=239 height=279 border=0></a> though some of that looks quite painful, including the dangle....Pretty, yes, but...OUCH dammit!!! :wow: if that gets caught on a button, or... a beard...

<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl4.glitter-graphics.net/pub/1358/1358174mlaikvap1i.jpg" width=292 height=409 border=0></a>This one --- Could be quite beautiful
but --- can be too much, hard to tell,
I'll probably hate the shoulder circle, looks like butcher markings.... She's young, she's wearing black & white, her coloring is B&W so it all blends.... Now.... While she's young & thin....

Wings are gorgeous but --- Too big? And look horrible with a bra.... the wings could be cool but ---- As you mature ---- tacky maybe.... (I'm 50-50, like I said 😛 )

You don't realize when you're 20-25 you'll very likely have a very different perspective when you're 40-45 --- even if that is young today ---- You may still like the tats,
....or you might wish they weren't quite as large, or as prominent,
.....or you no longer like the color/s....
.... or your tastes change, and you wish you'd done something different, more subtle, or
(not done it at all....)

People pay "BIG BUCKS" to *REMOVE tattoos ------ Even when they're done right to begin....

Some people look like Walking Canvases, Human Works of Art --- and that can be beautiful but ---- too much is a turn-off, it says "too extreme" in my book ---

<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl6.glitter-graphics.net/pub/1373/1373526kd2yrje8ct.jpg" width=320 height=189 border=0></a>This looks "hot" at a glance but... it's a pose with contrast.... Remove the gorgeous woman and you have...???

And I hate faces in tattoos ---- or RED color, looks bloody.... Depends upon the guy, and the design....

I hate the design on that guy's arm, looking closely...

I also don't like the horizontal (?) cut-off at the "sleeve", that's too abrupt for me ---- I understand guys do that so when in a business shirt they can LOOK professional (and keep certain more traditional jobs, same for women) but I like a gradual, subtle blend IF they must do it....

Angelina Jolie is Drop-Dead Gorgeous (imho) and her tats are --- what only someone that thin & DDG could get away with (!!) 😛

I'd look like a complete idiot... :jester:

Everyone's idea of beauty is obviously different ---

<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl3.glitter-graphics.net/pub/512/512013pz4i5kc4o1.jpg" width=384 height=255 border=0></a> I first looked at this and thought
---- UGH, she needs a shower to get that off,
but I can also see how it adds to her individuality --- with the hair, etc.,
it's a somewhat unique combination ---- in the FIRST picture in this thread with her WITH/WITHOUT I like her much better WITHOUT the tattoos.... Here, different angle, it grew on me ----

If they're happy and can be successful and support themselves in a career which doesn't require a traditional appearance, why not ----
I doubt I'd ever do it myself, but I (sometimes) appreciate it on others...

But it would make me hesistate to date someone --- from a distance it can be beautiful BUT
It's always struck me as often low-brow/bad judgement,
something practically permanent that's done without long-term thought too often....
Add all the above and
I really like the idea of temporary body art 😀
as someone else said...

Sometimes it's the angle, too... THESE look... well.... :X

Drool. 😀

I suspected you might like that one 😛 And I can see at this time, she looks gorgeous --- It did strike me as beautiful, but it also does give me serious pause....

These, however... well.... I REALLY hope they're temporary 😀
<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl5.glitter-graphics.net/pub/1176/1176475k9abpv05n1.jpg" width=452 height=534 border=0></a>

ICK ICK ICK *THIS ONE LOOKS LIKE A PAGE OUTTA GRAY'S ANATOMY :xlime: Speaking of bad color....
<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl9.glitter-graphics.net/pub/2427/2427879sxm59z28i6.jpg" width=317 height=326 border=0></a> B&W not AS bad..<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl5.glitter-graphics.net/pub/449/449455bm0bxgv5ur.jpg" width=254 height=312 border=0></a> But not nearly as good as the one Marquis likes.... Though there's a beauty & symmetry to it....

These couples happen to strike me as cheap, rather unoriginal & overdone, even without the underwear bands exposed
(or I just don't like these tats, particularly awkward, and really hate colors in most, also....)

<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl10.glitter-graphics.net/pub/451/451870w5qsuonavx.jpg" width=191 height=267 border=0></a> <a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl10.glitter-graphics.net/pub/2670/2670640hhs2osyzxz.jpg" width=300 height=300 border=0></a>

Here Kat Von D looks horrible, to me, as in the first posted pic, but I also hate faces/bodies in tats;
<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl9.glitter-graphics.net/pub/512/512009h6uqek9t43.jpg" width=300 height=426 border=0></a> That jewelry doesn't help, and -- is she older in this shot? Once you start to lose that "tone," it's over...

And this just looks (like it messes up a real beauty...)
<a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl6.glitter-graphics.net/pub/1472/1472396v1tqls6o1r.jpg" width=279 height=597 border=0></a> Someone mentioned tats on tops of feet.... Some folks just have bad taste, and/or bad tattoo artists.... ???
