Wow. A very very sad day that was.

I stayed far away from there, too. Even living five miles north of Ground Zero, the air stank of burning for a week. Many of the people who worked clearing the site wound up with cancer.

Very smart. There was a lot of toxic dust and fumes arising from where the towers collapsed. That' stuff caused tons of health problems.
