I got a call from our good friend Kurch, and he told me his internet service is down, and he can not get through to call them to find out how long the provider will be down, because they are receiving so many calls he can't even get into holding queue.

When I get more info I will let you all know.

Other than that, he is fine!

I can't say I have ever had any outages with Sprint 'net Low connection speed yes 🙁

Time Warner Cable doesn't have outages often, maybe once a year on average, but when they do have one that knocks out my internet, TV, and phone all at once. 😱

All three come into my apartment on one cable. There is a discount for buying all three services from them. But when there is an outage, I wind up using my cell phone to scream at them. 😱

Last time (which was in early October) they gave me not only the refund of the cost of the service lost, which they must do, but also a free month of The Movie Channel to apologize for the inconvenience. 😀 😛

Yes, they do try to make up for their failure to deliver service. 😀 😛

(That outage lasted about 30 hours and they credited my next bill with two days' refund since it was more than one full day.)

That is long for an outage Maybe some gremlins did some sabotage somewhere 😀 😛

Usually they can fix it in a few hours but in that case it took them a while to find the trouble which was underground. The affected area was about 10 square blocks on the upper west side of Manhattan. Apparently below the streets in Manhattan there is a three-dimensional maze of cables and pipes of all kinds. 😱
