I dont know what to do. 🙁 Most of the phones in LA are out already. Mine is just barely back up. Now I can not only not do any work on my art systems but I have trouble even getting online.

its a giant fiasco that never should have happened. The state uses inferior materials to build phone and electrical towers cause the weather here is usually nice. Then when its not so nice everything falls apart and they and the media make a storm that delviers a friggin half inch of rain look like hurrican Katrina.

Verizon kept telling me they had EXTREME weather conditions. The storms all 4 or five of them delivered about 4 to 5 inches of rain in about a week. Thats not "extreme"

I agree. Those are ordinary rainstorms. They are exaggerating the weather problems to excuse their gross lack of competence.

Exactly. The phone service is out for a good portion of the city because of incompetence from city officials and phone companies. God forbid a real disaster ever strikes.

I am sure they have an "explanation" for their lack of service. But I wonder if those idiots have bad service during bad weather.

As we discovered here during the aftermath of the blizzard, in a real emergency some people die due to the incompetence of city officials.

Some cars did get plowed aside and damaged. But the real crime was by the sanitation union bosses; it is described in a thread in the P&R Forum.

Yea I saw that thread. We have the same trouble here with "unions". Its the reason we threw Gray Davis out of office. He made a buch of deals with unions giving them super pensions at taxpayer expense for their unconditional support of him.

Yes a poor widdle baby lost his life cause of their greed and incompetence. Its really very criminal they should be charged with murder.
