That would be hard to enforce for drivers of private cars. It would make for fewer accidents, though.

The problem about enforcement is unsolvable. If there are three people with drivers' licenses in the car, they can claim to be changing off and driving 8 hours per day each.

Very true. I don't know if electronic recording devices that monitor how long a vehicle has driven would help.

Yea I know what you mean. Its ok to have a 70 year old woman hang on for dear life on a bus screaming along Sunset Blvd at 50 mph. 😱
