The Self Referential Thread

I downloaded the complete works of George Bernard Shaw to my Nook and I've been reading that. It has all his plays, stories, and essays, over 3,000 pages altogether. 😀 😛

What's amazing about e-readers is that it took less than one minute to download and it cost $3.99 because he's been dead so long his works are in the public domain.
Over 3,000 pages for $3.99.What a deal. I still have yet to get an E reader. Maybe later this month. 😀 😛

Yes, this is a good time to buy one. Price wars between Kindle and Nook have brought the basic black-and-white models of each down to about $79. 😀 😛

You can indeed publish anything whatsoever on sites like Lulu:

http://www.lulu.com/

Publishing there is free, but publicity is not. So it's your problem on how to inform people that your book is there and your problem to induce them to buy it. Here is one of my books there:

Thanks for the link my friend. I wonder if there is a way to donate sales to charity from Lulu. I will have to inquire them. 😀 😛

I would have to go with a "pen" name if I write any stuck/tickling stories. 😀 😛

I know I can't use General Zod. I doubt if DC Comics would like that. 😛
😀 😛

That I had not heard, but it's not surprising.

😀 😛
Some time back,on a Subway commercial, there was a green monster in it,with an Asisan lady.It was one of the five dollar foot long commercials. A Godzilla lawyer saw it,and convinced a judge that the monster looked like Godzilla. It looked nothing like Godzilla. :ranty:

I never saw that commercial but I definitely remember the original Godzilla from Japanese movies when I was young. 😀 😛

The original one was. Then there was a second B&W movie. Not sure if any others were made before 1965. 😀 😛

I don't recall being too scared by those movies as a kid. It was obviously just a fake big reptile.

😀 😛

They were a lot better than the low budget horror films made in the U.S. at that time.
😀 😛
Plus not so bloody.😛
I gotta split for the night my friend. I doubt I shall be online tomorrow,as it will be a 12 plus hour day. 🙁
Peace and wuv my friend. :bunny: 😀 😛
