In the game my strategy was to first attack the weaker captured Russian troops the germans were using to hold up certain positions and then go from there to recapture the various cities. 😀 😀 😛
Sounds like a good strategy, Kurch. 😀 😛In the game my strategy was to first attack the weaker captured Russian troops the germans were using to hold up certain positions and then go from there to recapture the various cities. 😀 😀 😛
That's why you are a very^99999999999999999999999999999999999 great general 😀 😛
Even though it was very long, I was interested the whole way through it. 😀 😛
Thanks General Zod. 😀 The strategy worked fairly well. The russian troops had very low morale and were not well armed. It was a good entry point into the theater from there. Things of course got much more difficult when facing the German troops LOL but at least at that point I had choices. 😀 😀 😛
Most movies suck these days. 😀 😀 😛

In those days before electronic games, there were many war games that used dice to determine the outcome of battles. 😀 😛
You're welcome my friend 😀
Back in the mid 80's I had bought a two player board game called panzer leader It was a game based on W.W.2 battles from France to Germany 1944-1945 First time I played it,a friend of mine played the Allies, and I played the germans on the D-Day invasion I was able to win
I guess some of it was on the roll of the dice 😀 😛
I always liked war strategy games. Harpoon was the one I played the most. 😀 😀 😛
I forget what this game was called but they had various battles thorugh history you could renact. The cool thing was you could follow things differently even though the objectives were the same. 😀 😛
Those were the good old days Any of you guys play those role playing games? 😀 😛
Now there was a good game maker My favorite from them was called Patton's Best It was a solitare game where you played an American tank commanderI never played any role play games. I did have several war games manufactured by Avalon Hill. 😀 😛
I use to play a lot of those. 😀 I played all the UNIX ones too like larn, Ularn, hack, Rogue, Moria, etc. Most of these are available for the PC and they are free. 😀 😀 😛
