I had something not so healthy today but not junk food: A big liverwurst sandwich for lunch. 😀 😛

It's not very popular any more but some supermarkets will have it, sometimes as braunschweiger. 😀 😛
 
What braunschweiger is supposed to be is smoked liverwurst. Some brands of braunschweiger are, however, not smoked so they are just liverwurst under a different name. The name comes from a city in Germany (as do the names hamburger and frankfurter).

Nice. I like German food a lot. Use to be several nice German Resturaunts in the Valley. Not many left though. 🙁

There is a joke about an American tourist in Germany who noted that he had visited Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Braunschweig, but could not find Cheeseburg on any map. 😀 😛
