Its common to do something like that to in Italian cooking. My grandma often made a veal roll with hard boiled eggs inside. Good way to stretch the meat. 😀

I never cook anything fancy or that makes more than one pot dirty. 😀 😛
 
Exactly. If I have to clean two pots later then it's not worth the trouble. 😀 😛
 
When I was able to get off base quarters allowance when I was in the USAF,I had one of those slow cookers It would take 8-10 hours to cook something I would put in a small pot roast,add some veggies,and cook the stuff while I was sleeping
