Wow thats pretty awesome.I met Captain Lou at a car wash with my dad when I was like 6 years old.
True. It is entertaining I must admit. They either didn't know or didn't care that the matches were scripted.
It's funny growing up that they wanted you to believe it was real...and now they actually want you to know it's a show just like any other show and not a sport with a winner/loser. But the one thing that is real about it is these guys do get hurt. And the ironic thing is they wind up hurting themselves more than each other. Some of the bumps they take and how they fall makes me ache just looking at it.They either didn't know or didn't care that the matches were scripted.
Yea they did change it around. Was sort of obvious it was a show. There was a guy named Leaping Lenny. Man that guy could jump and do all sorts of acrobatics. He was worth watching..Professional wrestling takes two types of talent. First, acting talent. They need to get into the role of their character. Second, the same ability as a stuntman (or stuntwoman), to take blows and to fall down without getting really hurt. That is hard to do and I could never do it.
My brother wanted to be a wrestler when we were kids. My mom told him you're so clumsy you'll never make it.Professional wrestling takes two types of talent. First, acting talent. In spite of all the scripting it does take a lot of talent. My brother wanted to be a wrestler when we were kids. My mom told him you're so clumsy you'll never make it.
Well Kurch if you were a wrestler would you be named Kurch the Crusher? In spite of all the scripting it does take a lot of talent.
Without the talent, you won't be able to take the falls without being injured. In spite of all the scripting it does take a lot of talent.
They did this show called Tough Enough and showed people who tried out for it and they realized how hard it was and how much it hurt. Unfortunately, that's why some of them wind up on pain killers.Without the talent, you won't be able to take the falls without being injured.
I never saw Tough Enough, but sounds like a rude awakening for some people. 😀They did this show called Tough Enough and showed people who tried out for it and they realized how hard it was and how much it hurt. Unfortunately, that's why some of them wind up on pain killers.
Yea you gotta know how to fall just right.Without the talent, you won't be able to take the falls without being injured.
