Hehe... Dussicar started it. Getting back on topic, I think that if we ever decided to post some of the more... interesting of the shameful private messages, perhaps it would be better to leave it to the discretion of the mods. Otherwise, you may have some people who are taking innocent social awkwardness as genuinely perverted behavior and "outing" someone that doesn't deserve it. It's an issue in that we should definitely tread carefully.

I feel beautiful once again

To be honest, getting strange pm's would be requiring me to be under the impression that there was a norm here. And so far...I haven't really found that bar. Most people have been cool and back off if requested. I guess the strangest things to me are people that request to meet with no strings attached to have a session of their choosing. I feel more sex worker-esque and less human for being asked that. But that's something for me to deal with as I cannot control the actions of others.

I used to collect comics too....Iron Man was my personal fav....

I'm not in favor of guys sending messages like this. But, some simply don't know any better.

Ann, I love you. I absolutely adore you, and thank you for caring so much about everybody regardless of what they do or how they behave... but I must rip into this comment like a wild boar (a wild, fat boar, with beady little red eyes).

That idea, quoted above... is just wrong, wrong on so many levels. The worst thing to happen with regards to the youth of today (and the not-so-youth of today... this is an 18+ Website, after all) is the attitude of those from preceding generations that they "don't know any better." I find this offensive, much as I found "teenagers use a lot of drugs" offensive when I was a drug-free, non-smoking teenager... who, despite the apparent inherent drug use of teenage years, received no "props" whatsoever for staying clean.

The fact is that the majority of teenagers did not do drugs, at least while (and where) I was growing up, and this fact is generally known to people under most circumstances, but it's so much easier to chalk the occasional individual high-profile case of drug use up to "kids, these days" than to make a sincere, potentially extreme, and generally unpopular effort at fixing it.

When standards of behavior or attitude drop, in general, acting like adherence to the old standards is something people "don't understand" is a slap in the face to those of us who never had an issue with them in the first place... especially when the drop in standards is like a leap into a bottomless pit.

If you are old enough to use this Website, you are at least twice the age that you need to be to have some politeness and consideration for other people. I understood this by the age of eight or nine, as did all of my friends while growing up. These guys, as with any guys with a functional left-brain, know better; I've seen some turn-downs from the more condescending questions and propositions result in dire (if impotent) threats from said guys, directed back to the women who didn't want to answer their questions. Do they not understand that that, threatening people for not revealing their tickle-spots or refusing to move in with them as a tickle-slave, is unacceptable? If they honestly don't understand that either their initial messages or their responses to being turned down are unacceptable, they need to be in a psychiatric clinic for being extremely socially maladjusted, and treating them with kid gloves isn't going to do anything that their own upbringing failed to do.

They think they can get away with being beastly, obscene and rude because it's online, because any attempt to enforce the use of manners online is at least as impotent as their pathetic private messages, their threats, their general demeanor. They do not need to be coddled, and they aren't going to behave with any decency if simply asked to.
