Everyone has their tastes what they like, what they don't but to write off a band/musician and not actually properly listening to their material is beyond me. I've said before there are tracks I don't like or listen to by Metallica, but giving the chance to see them live time and time again, I would take that thank you.

Metallica have influenced many bands in the past 20 years or so and they are still going, you can't deny that they have a huge following and young kids are still getting into them, they aren't past it, just yet 😉

Ok, so, firstly, the thing about throwing the CD out was obviously a joke, as the smiley after the sentence implies ;P Second, as you are pointing out - everyone has their tastes and we are allowed to think that a band is good. We are ALSO allowed to think that a band is "not so good", and also allowed to express that opinion ^^, I DO own a Metallica album and I HAVE studied the lyrics, but it's just not speaking to me, I'm very sorry about that ;P

You can be a great musician, but if noone promotes you, it doesn't matter. Metallica only happened to be the right people on the right place at the right time.

I'm not a metal fan, but I have to agree with Chrystal, Enter Sandman is a pretty cool toon, and one of the few can sit through. Most metal is just screaming, this one was screaming that I can understand.
