does anyone have a tatoo that refers to tickling? such as "tickle me", or "i'm ticklish", etc.

Yep!

Of my 6 tattoo's, 2 of them are tickling related. Since I am still a little shy about my fetish though in the vanilla world, I went with two designs that represented my tickling affections, without screaming it from the roof tops (besides, the question 'what do those represent' is a GREAT conversation starter!).

The first one I have is one that my tattoo artist customed designed for me. He's a very close friend, and knows all about my tickling fetish, so it was actually his suggestion. The design is two blue feathers, crossed at the quills, united by a red heart. It's symbolic to show my love for tickling. It's location? Where else, but on my right foot. 😀

The second one was my own idea, though now I can't remember where the idea for it originally came from. It is a Japanese Kanji symbol for the word "ticklish", done in a black tribal style. That one is located between my right collar bone and shoulder, above my right breast. And given the fact I have notoriously ticklish collar bones, I can honestly say that one tickled like a dickens!

I am considering getting one more yet...though Ihaven't decided where or what yet. Perhaps something along the lines of "Ticklish Property of Wil" (Wil is Lazarus' real name, my fiance), done in a circle text around a feather or a set of handcuffs on the small of my back.

I have a tatoo tickle related question:

For Anyone who got a tatoo and it " tickled like dickens"<---I love this word...hee hee....anyway, when you were getting the tatoo, did you giggle aloud? And what did the tatoo artist do when you giggled?

I've always wondered this. Since I will NEVER get a tatooo myself, I would like to know.😀

Are you kidding me? I don't know about anyone else but the feeling I got when getting one is far from ticklish. Fvcker hurt like hell. OK, maybe not that bad but it was far from pleasent.

*sings* Dickens, the word of the day, dickens, it'll be here to stay..dickens, WHY WON'T YOU GO AWAAAAYYYYYYY?!

Oh, and, not a problem about the piano Baron, I have a knack for pain *casts CURE 4 on himself* AHHH, must better...

Oh, and XD is a face...it's like anime or southpark closed eyes with a smile.

Getting the one on the small of my back made me cry (it's all letters and lines). The one on the inside of my left ankle and the one on my belly just made me say "f**k" every two seconds. (At one point when I was getting the one on my ankle, the artist stopped and I said "f**k", even though he had stopped; I told him, "Sorry; I had one left over." Made the guy laugh. 🙂 )

The one on my shoulder...actually, just below my shoulder...wasn't that bad. I actually carried on a conversation with the artist.

I plan to get another one, and add to the one on my shoulder. I'd really like to get a feather, but all those lines! Ow! Lines hurt the most.

Just realized...I haven't really added anything useful to this topic. Oh...none of my tattoos are tickle-related. Back on topic! 😀

Different variations of tattoo's, some men use pens that don't burn the skin the same way, ends up with more of a tickling sensation.

How much a tattoo will hurt when you get it, and also the possibility of if it will tickle at all, all depends on where you get it done. And it also depends a bit on the tattoo artist themselves. If they have a heavy hand, you'll likely feel a bit more pain. However, in my case, I have an extremely gentle tattoo artist, who gets off on making me squirm in a ticklish manner, so he always does his best to put me through the most agony possible (non-pain agony). But don't get me wrong...the large 9 inch dragon on my left calf hurt worse than child birth. And the 8 inch tiger butterly on my left arm was also a hard one to grit my teeth through. But both of my tickling symbolic tattoo's did have ticklish moments, as well as painful ones.

As for my reaction, I basically react the same way to the ticklish sensations that I do the painful sensations....try to sit and still as possible, grit my teeth, and squeeze through it. You can NOT move while getting inked. If you do, you could wind up with a really ugly blemish that you'll be stuck with for the rest of your life. And believe me when I tell you it is much easier to sit still when it HURTS, as opposed to when it tickles.

I have let out a stiffled giggle or two (or several) while getting through a particularly ticklish area of a tattoo. My tat artist, since he knows about my ticklish fetish, just gets a sadistic grin on his face and tries to make it tickle that much more. (I think he's a closet ticklephile, since he is constantly tickling the ever living bejeezus out of me, but he will neither confirm nor deny it..he only gets an evil grin and winks).

The Kanji Symbol on my chest was the worst, though. I have a tendency to 'vibrate' when I laugh. In other words, my whole body shakes when I get a good giggling fit going. My collar bones are extremely ticklish, and parts of the tattoo were being drawn and inked right on my collar bones. The tattooing itself did not tickle so much, as the vibrations of the tattoo gun right against my collar bones. That was HELL. At least 3 times, my tattoo artist stopped tattoing, pulled the gun away, peered at me under the brim of his cap, and said "you've GOT to stop vibrating if you don't want this messed up!"

Mine hurt.
Didn't tickle.
Didn't make me laugh.
Just hurt.

I have them on my inner left ankle, and outer right ankle (area) and both were hot! Possibly they were just in tender areas. (For me anyway)

The pain was just the burn...but...I kinda liked it!

Hmmmmm. Vibrating? Vibrators? Oh, Miiiiiimiiiiii! (Wrrrrrrrrrrr)

Or should that be.... PURRRRRRRRRRRR?

Not yet but I am working on one. I have 6 total tats but not one yet is of tickle nature. Before the summer hopefully I will come up with something.......subtle perhaps but then again........subtly is not one of my traits or part of my nature.

virgin to tatts, bit not too piercings...

I'm going for my first (and probably only) tat in April. I know it's cliche' but I'm going for a lower back piece.

For one, just a personal pref I think it looks really hot and second, it's going to be in a place that won't show unless I want you to see it.

Although my lower back is super sensitive (in the best way possible) I fully expect it NOT to tickle one bit--Like someone else on the board alluded to, I anticipate swearing thru the entire rotten process...I am open to cute ideas as to what to put down there though---Brad came up with a neat one for me and I've got plenty of time, I'd love to hear thoughts...I'm going for something with bright colors and that will be sort of "eternally me"...

My girlfriend Yvonne is taking me to her favorite artist who she swears is gentle (yeah, RIGHT!)but his book contains some REALLY BEAUTIFUL Mardi Gras masks which she thought seemed like me (permanent party girl)...
I was thinking I could have 2 masks, each surrounded by a brightly colored feather. It would be pretty, yet make me people who don't know me wonder...

Yeah, I can almost guarantee that location will NOT tickle. The small of my back/lower back is one of my most ticklish areas, but I know damn well if I go through with getting a tattoo there as I am considering, it is gonna hurt like a bitch. The skin in that area is often covered, and hasn't been exposed to elements that would toughen it over time. So it is extremely delicate.

Be sure you have a high tolerance for pain if considering that location.

Mimi 🙂

Mardi Gras masks sound like a great idea, Steph!

Very original; I can't think of anyone I've seen with that type of tattoo. 🙂

Unfortunately for me, I have a very low tolerance for pain, so mine hurt like hell. (The tattoo artist, however, told me I had the sexiest cry he'd ever heard. 🙄 )

Hi Mimi!

Thanx for the reply Meems.

I DON'T have a high tolerance for pain (I'm actually a huge wimp) but I've endured the pain of multiple piercings and according to my pals who're bod mod experts and who've watched my reactions, they believe I can handle it--For example, I made a LOT less noise than my girlfriend Cori, when we went to get our hoods pierced together and she's got like nine tattoos and I think 12 piercings--My look is MUCH tamer than that, partially out of necessity. I work in a hospital (notoriously conservative). Besides my 70 year old Italian mama would kick my ass if I showed up with it someplace like my bicep.

I do tan a little (for years now) so mine's not a completely virgin area, and I've prepared myself for the fact that this normally ticklish body part will probably throb with pain for days afterwards, not so different from some of my piercings, actually <gg>...Actually I got lucky with this guy--while most piercers charge by the hour, this guy charges PER PIECE, can you believe it?? So I figure once it gets more than I can stand, I can always comeback and do it in pieces, like my friend did with his ribcage dragon tatoo (owie!)

By the way, your tats are beautiful, I saw them on Ray's site--do you have others not showcased there? Although I don't plan on getting more than this one, I am obscenely fascinated in the work that others sport and frequently accompany my friends to get "work done."

XOXO

Re: Mardi Gras masks sound like a great idea, Steph!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, Lite--you poor baby, I'm so sorry---that sucks gigantic monkey ass (and just for that crack alone, I think I'd have had to bop my artist in the head!) See my response to Mimi...

Yep, I fully expect to cry my way thru this whole thing too. But I know in the end it'll be worth it--my best friend wants me to get a Goddess w/the feathers instead of the Mardi Gras so I've got some thinking to do...

Although I didn't cry for any piercings but I know this will take MUCH longer...Seriously, how much do you love yours now???

XOXO

I also have a very high tolerancve for pain. I've been through multiple surgeries, but if you saw me in the hospital, you never would have known had I not had a tube hanging out of me. And the tatoo needle? Being a former cancer patient, you get stuck w/ needes at least 8 times a day, double for me cuz I was anemic, and my veins were "funky". So most of the time when they stuck me the first time, they never got blood, so they'd have to come back again. lol. So I'm not scared to get one, I just dont have a WANT for one. Plus, it is too much of a risk of infection. And that's the LAST thing I need!! So I'll just admire everyone elses.😀
