This is getting silly.
I tried, I really tried to stay out of this post. I try to avoid controversy of this nature, especially when it makes very little sense to begin with. At first I was simply jealous of MyTicklingStudios, basicly because he's doing what I would love to do. Next came the badmouthing, which happens often enough with vids of this nature, which are extremely intense and seem unpleasant to some of the participants. However, this seems to be the Thread That Will Not Die. It keeps coming back to haunt us. From what I read, it's for an ugly reason.
Admittedly, one of the reasons I was reluctant to post my take on all this is the all too real fact that I am biased. Someone is still bound to say, "Oh, that Rexx, he just loves Asian women being tickled, he'll take MTS's side. Don't pay any attention to him." I can see how my opinion would easily make me shark fodder.
I also want to point out that these vids aren't exactly my cup of java. I prefer playful, romantic tickling, which may seem odd to some because I also like the bondage, and I don't like seeing sex mixed with tickling in vids. That being said, a good, torturous dose of tickling is welcome upon occasion as well. I think many of us feel this way. For those of us that don't, I understand the "Non-consential" concerns that have been appropriately leveled, just as they were when the Paradise Vision vids with the same theme were introduced.
These concerns disturb some, who cite abuse, victimization and personal violation in their opinions. Very viable and legitimate reasoning, and it shouldn't surprise anyone that folks tend to speak their mind in this venue. In truth, we all know if this were the case, someone would be in jail. Those who do not enjoy a particular tickling vid are free to voice their distaste and move on, without making a purchase and thereby supporting the producer. That's the way commerce works.
If only it would have stopped there.
I don't know WendynPeter, nor do I have anything against her/him/them, and I want to think she/he/they have honorable intentions in this series of posts, but one thing really smells bad. I've never seen anyone complain about tickling vids produced in France, Russia, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Mexico or Turkey. All the models in vids from these countries have three things in common: 1) NONE of them would be in these vids if they did not need the paycheck. 2) To mine or anyone else's knowlege, no one kidnapped and/or forced these models to submit to the tickling, no matter how "Non-consential" the title may claim. 3) The vast majority of the models from these producers are of Anglo descent.
I smell racism, albiet of a warped, misguided and well-intentioned sort.
I've read all the posts about the whole "Sex-slave" idea, and quite honestly it's naive. Please keep in mind I've not only been to southeast Asia several times, own property and a home there, have a working knowlege of 2 of the languages, but I married into the culture. I can say the "Sex-slave" theory doesn't wash, at least in the Philippines. We are NOT in the 1940's anymore. Women's rights have pervaded EVERY facet of life, even in the realm of prostitution. Treat a Prostitute bad, go to jail. Just ask the 4 U.S. Marines in the Philippines now who are accused of raping a Prostitute. Don't believe me? Google it.
I have many news stories (60 Minutes, Dateline, 48 Hours, PBS, etc.) on vhs collected over the years on this subject, and I dare say these shows are sensationalizing the sad situations of some of the most poverty-stricken people on the planet who turn to prostitution for survival. They actively seek out these women in the name of RATINGS. Simply put, "Sex-Slaves of Southeast Asia" will attract more viewers than "Asian Women Who Turn to Prostitution as a Means of Feeding Their Family." These shows will highlight only the most abusive of cases, paying no mind that the individuals in question might very likely that very night proceed to ply her trade without being abused. Articles from various news magazines and especially National Geographic seem to have a better grasp of the story. Most of the actual "Sex-Slave" business is done in so-called "Civilized" countries: Japan, Saudi-Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, and yes, the United States. These are the countries that girls from the Philippines, China, etc. go as either contract workers or illegal immigrants. As contract workers, they are often at the mercy of their employers, especially in the "Entertainment" industy in Japan and the "Domestic Helper" field in the Middle-East. You wanna talk about abuse??
After Gulf War I People magazine published a story titled "The Shame of Kuwait." We're talking about a small country whose median wage is far above that of the U.S. So much so that most of the menial labor is done by, you guessed it, foriegn workers. The photo leading the story was of the inside of the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait, the floor littered wall to wall with Filipinas who fled from their employers. They could not return to their home because of contract stipulations that they had not yet "repaid" their employers the price of importing them. They ALL reported cases of rape and/or horribly abusive conditions. The article also made mention of a Filipina in Egypt who faced the gallows for killing her employer with a steak knife, (a woman) who threatened to cut out her tongue and one eye and cast her out on the streets of Cairo to live as a beggar. She had children back home in the Philippines. Many of the women in this article had children as a result of rape, and were beaten by jealous wives. National Geographic has had a few articles on the "Entertainment" industry in Japan, where Filipinas are hired with the promise of being singers, dancers, etc, only to be put to work in high-class brothels. The wealthy Japanese businessmen who are the customers consider these women "Gaijin" (Barbarians), thus not worthy of the respect of even a Japanese prostitute. Illegal immigrants from China here in the U.S face basicly the same fate. They fear deportation more than an abusive john/pimp.
Am I saying sex-slavery does NOT happen in the Philippines? Of course not. But you would be surprised and shocked to learn the circumstances of most of the reported, and unreported cases. Unthinkably, the majority of these cases are done within family circles. A fellow fancies his friend's sister/neice/cousin, next thing you know the girl is drugged/drunked/outright raped and the friend has a pocketful of pesos. By "unreported" I mean everyone has heard the story, or knows a friend of a friend type of affair, but the victim is too ashamed to go to the often-corrupt police.
In the area of "exploitation," one has to ask: Who is expoiting whom? A producer who pays women to be tied and tickled, or the woman who earns as much as a month's salary spending an hour or so being tickled? This can be asked no matter where said video is produced, and face it, there are far worse ways to make a buck. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that it seems only directed at a producer from Asia.
Again, I understand and sympathize with any who have reservations about sex-slavery. I simply believe most of the stout objections on the subject seen in this thread are based on uninformed and stereotypical views. After all, if these views indeed were reality, how many of the victims would be allowed even ONE "Puck You," let alone several, without a severe beating?
