Ok, so the other evening I was in the chat room chatting with another female. I guess the first clue things weren't going to go good was I called her "hun".( I call lots of people hun). She said "don't call me that, all the males on here call me that". So I apologized and we kept chatting. I left my computer for a minute to take my dinner dishes to the kitchen, and when I returned she asked what size pantyhose I wear. I told her, and she freaked out! She said "your a male, I knew it, you didn't answer his question quick enough, you went and checked google, don't pm me again!" I didn't know what the hell she was talking about until I scrolled down a few lines and some guy had asked me if I wore nylons, and what size do I wear? I completely missed his question, and wouldn't have answered anyway as I usually only chat with one person at a time. So paranoid schizo chick freaked out on me.
Now I know there are "posers" on here, I have been contacted by a couple, and it is one of the reasons I dropped yahoo, but this woman freaked on me because I didn't answer a question quick enough!!
One last thing. I don't appreciate guys that pm/pc me and the first words I see is "tickle tickle tickle" or "removing your shirt". At least have the courtesy of beginning with an intelligent conversation, introduce yourself and lets chat a little.
That's my rant. Enough said.

This is why I don't bother with chat rooms Gina, you seldom get any people worth talking to in there nowadays and even when you do, they can turn out to be psychotic or paranoid!

It never ceases to amaze how little class and intelligence people have!

I agree very much with the sentiment of the rant, at least. I wish the overall standard of chat conversation was higher…*but, you know, it's the free and open Internet in this case. I think we'd have to convince the world at large that discretion is valuable, and deception and even just being plain aren't really things to shoot for.

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've been accused of having a wiener.

People on twitter often think I'm a female because I tweet under my store name @TickleCuties....apparently that means I have a vajayjay.

Oh the irony! lol Its a top 10 rule of the internet: 'There are no women on the internet'.
Successful sexual forums like the TMF give arise to the falsehood that you can talk to and meet women who share the same likes as you. You only have to look at the stream of teenage American girls with ticklish feet who join this website on a weekly basis to know that behind every to good to be true msn chat is a sweaty bald guy from Ohio going to town on himself.

This really does open up the wider issue along with the recent threads on therapist visits on the mental state of the Tickling community. I mean ive had this fetish in my daily life for what 10 years now and in that time ive had maybe 5 notable experiences of being tickled for a few minutes and bumped into 1 person from the community at a bdsm event who stuck her middle finger up at me when she found out i shared the same like as her. We really are a close nit community of very lonely desperate people.

All this reminds me of the cartoon that is at least a decade old of the dog sitting at a computer with the caption, "On the internet, no one knows you're a dog."

Welcome to the perils of an open, relatively anonymous forum like this. On the upside this forum gives a place for so many with this particular fondness for tickling a place to share, to discover, to learn, to express. Many have the "burned once, twice shy" approach that is often expressed with the quick to judge and flash anger experienced by the OP in the chat room. The nature of this medium so often allows people to leave honesty, civility, and common courtesy (not to mention common sense) at the door. The frequent result is someone steps away to tend to dinner dishes and Wham!

It is absolutely true that there are a fair number of posers on this site, in the chat room, seeking their own selfish ends. But is is also absolutely true that there are many genuine, honest people on this site seeking to share with other like-minded people.

Text on a screen loses so much context that it is all the more amazing that we can form any sort of rapport between one another in such an environment. But with luck and a little patience and openness, it is possible to form a meaningful relationship or at least have a pleasant conversation with someone else.

Internet rage and road rage would seem to have much in common. It is a sad fact of life online. Our stalwart forum managers can only act when there is an egregious and clear violation of the "rules of the road" the same way the traffic cop can only pull over those who clearly break the traffic laws, leaving the rest of us to fend as best we can with road rage drivers or, in this case, internet rage chatters.

Seems to me, we humans, whether tickle adherents or adherents of anything else, all have those moments of lonely desperation, trying to get through life. The creations of humankind - like the internet - can, on the one hand, erase some of that desperate loneliness and, on the other hand, intensify that same lonely desperation. TMF, chat, the internet, are only tools. How we use them is up to us.

Funny, the pantyhose questions seems to be the only "lie detector" question that men use to tell if you're a fake femme. I find it so amusing that the answers most will accept are "A" or "B." The irony that many women don't wear pantyhose is lost on some - I'm sure there are plenty of women out there who don't have a clue what size they wear. And there are differences between the US and other countries. I love saying "Q" actually - that leaves them puzzled... or D, E, F. The bottom line is, paranoia reigns supreme. I have encountered those who wouldn't even consider live voice as a confirmation of being a true female. I move on... but it's sad that such idiocy has to ruin possibilities for meeting new folks in the community.

Amen girlfriend.

If you hve ever been on Omegle it is fun humoring the people that go on there trying to pick up girls online. The peron usually asks "ASL?" and then I answer "18/F/SoCal". The other person then types something among the lines of "Lol oh sup I'm 18/M/Socal". I take some time to humor the person and then out of nowhere I type "I'm a dude you pervert!" and immediately leave the chat. Fun thing to do if you're bored. But yeah, guys usually disguise themselves trying to talk to girls or only want to talk to girls. It is rather odd how they approach women online though. I imagine some male tmf'ers ask female tmf'ers in messages stuff like "Hi, what size shoe do you wear?" or "Have you ever been tickled in nylons?" or " Do you like wearing nylons?". People should just start off with a friendly "Hello, my name is ______."

I always thought that the posers were fairly obvious, at least the men posing as women. Sometimes, I think I can actually hear them masterbating as they ask questions about either my last tickling experience or "What I would do to them if I kidnapped them."

Sorry that happened. What's annoying is since I don't know you part of me wonders if you're just trying to clear your name, so you can talk to more chicks. That's no personal attack on you. I'm just saying that so much doubt has been created when it comes to "is she really a she" that it's hard to not be cynical. I try to think positive and just believe what a person is saying unless they give me a reason not to.

Also, few females in the chat are actually looking to meet guys in real life for sessions, so on some level it doesn't even matter. When it comes to proving it I would go by webcam or I tell you to write something on a piece of paper and take a pic of yourself holding it. I don't know what this panty hose question is. I don't think my wife would know either.

Pulchritudinous, your sig pic is awesome haha.

Guilty [male] until proven innocent [female] seems to be the agenda here.

To be honest, just establish yourself as a reliable and honest member of the online community rather than sending people ridiculous PMs all the time and people may trust you more. Lord.

And in addition to this, the chivalrous pandering is boring.

what business is it of man's to ask what size pantyhose a girl wears...dont u think u'd be able to tell when she "lets you" meet her...u can see what size she is? im really sorry u went through this "hun", lo!! that one made me laugh...i swear the chick you were talking to his crazy, stay outta the chatrrooms and dont feel obligated to answer every single man that sends you a message or adds you as a friend, which i find most annoying...i must have had 18 people add me as a friend in the last couple of months..deleted most of em unless ive actually chatted with them!! weirdos on here for sure! be careful girl..and so glad you brought this to everyones attention! very smart!! 😉

AMEN SISTER. I'm kind of a newbie to the tmf world anyway... and that's a great way to scare me off!

HA Rhino! Too funny. This thread remminds me of that period on the forum quite afew years ago when there were a whole bunch of guys going around pretty much accusing almost every woman of being a dude. It scared alot of the women into hiding and alot of people started going to the tickle theater instead of here to avoid all the dbags and conflicts. Interesting to hear it come from a woman this time.
