What's Your Halloween Costume?

I am going as the Queen of Hearts and Amanda is going as Alice. I am going to make
most of my outfit, although I did purchase the top hat, which arrived today - so cute!

Here we don't celebrate Halloween, but next year we're going to celebrate de bi-century of my country.

Halloween is fast approaching. Personally my favourite yearly celebration. So, if you're going to dress up, what are you going to dress up as? If you could dress up as anything, what would that be?
I'm gonna dress up as a devil, cause I already have a red suit/dress and spiked collar and won't have to spend money since I'm on a budget. Though I think I'll look for a plastic pitchfork. If I could afford it though, I'd love to dress up as alice from alice in wonderland. How about you?
Oh, and if you have fet clothing/accessories, do you ever incorporate that into your costumes?

I'm actually going as Alice, and Lee is going as the Queen of Hearts.

I can't wait to see everyone's costumes as the Day draws near and the nights grow long. And i'm especially interested in seeing work-in-progress shots from anyone making or modifying a costume! Seeing how other people imbue their works with creative energies is something that makes me smile 🙂

As much as I love love LOVE Halloween and costumes, I haven't wanted to dress up and go out for the last few years even though Columbus has some *amazing* parties and events. I like just being Mama on Halloween lately; my girls get awesome costumes, and we invite some of their friends to trick-or-treat with us and then sleep over, and once they're all in bed the hubby and I make a fire and pig-out on the chocolate the girls didn't want and watch some kick-ass horror movies under a blanket (or we just watch Bravo's Hundred Scariest Movie Moments, I love that show!)

I'll have a witch hat for trick-or-treating though, and my Shamwow doggie will have a costume 😀

Haven't done a vampire since I was about 8, so I figured I'd shell out for some colored contacts, fangs and wear my best suit to work.

If I dress up, it's going to be the same outfit from last year (I'm getting older, and we're on a budget!), which was a black, hooded robe-like outfit with a black, see-through face covering. Instead of using the hood, I added a black wizard/witch hat and a beard to make it into a wizard, but I found that costume beards are extremely itchy. I'll just be wearing all black, with the robe, black gloves, and my big, black, clunky boots with metal plates.

I doubt I'll dress up, though, because we're more excited about taking our soon-to-be two-year old son trick-or-treating for the first time. If my wife doesn't dress up, I'm not going to. We got my son a vampire costume. I wonder if my wife plans on covering him in glitter so he sparkles...

I've got 2 costumes.... one for "fun" and one for public consumption 😉

Public Consumption: Fallen Angel... long black dress with sparkly angel wings, missing halo, tall black leather boots, lots of lace.

"FUN": Wonder Woman... hehehe. But it's at home for "halloween" in November when I get back. 😉
