I wouldn't. A few years back I would have, but not now. Personally, I view sex differently now, it's not just physical now, it has more meaning. It's a moral thing to me, because an ex-porn star would be very different than a current one.

Most likely not. Not because of the sex thing I suppose -- well, that would have something to do it. But I know I would be boring to her after doing so many sexual things already, while I have no experience at all with it. 😉

If I were single, and she were erudite, and funny, and engaging, then, why not? To me, it's just an occupation.
I've seen interviews of some female porn stars and they seemed very sweet and down to earth . I suppose it's true that personal life and the movie making can be very seperate . Having a porn star as a girlfriend would be having to except fully what she does .

This reminds me of the movie Mighty Aphrodite and The Machinist where the man ends up being with a prostitude. Although not a porn star it's in the similair vein. I guess it's the way she is outside of those movies in real life. If she goes with the attitude that it's just a job and is completely different than yes if she acts like she does in the movies then no. Hey i'd rather date a porn star than some right wing christian conservative! No offense to those type of people it's just that they are just not my type at all!

If a lady exudes some particular attraction to me for whatever reason, I would attempt to embrace it further.
If there is an very strong indication that our chemistry tends to raise the blood pressure without any physical encouragement; I would surely try to give it a second opportunity to speak to me.
If our converstation just started and I check my watch and we've been talking for an hour or longer and I don't want it to stop, and can't believe how quickly it passed, I would keep it going with at least a repeat conversation.
If her heart causes her eyes to sparkle while in my presence (and yes you can tell when that happens) I continue to become better acquainted and feel blessed with the opportunity.
If I say, I have to warn you, I love to play and especially tickle, and she says, that sounds like fun, I pick myself up off the floor and thank God for another chance for happiiness.
Would I date a porn star? Yes. If I were single and wanting someone to share my time with me, I would never say never to anyone. You never know what a persons heart can or will bring to a relationship unless you look into it. I don't think I ever cared what a person did. I don't claim to know much but I will tell you this, if you make love to a persons heart you will, much more often than not, be considered among the best no matter what experience they have or you have. And that goes far beyond intercourse.
I am very fortunate to have been happily married for over 30 years so I can't use any of this for a date. But I use much of it still when I meet those that I humbly call friends. And every once in a while, I turn around and say, wow, how did I get so lucky to get to know this person or these people. Just like several of you that I have come to know in this community. Even if you don't find a partner, you may just find a friend and that is so much more special than a date.

I would only if they had worked strictly in legit porn. The kind that has strict rules to follow. HIV tests every 3 months. No drugs. Etc. (And before anyone tries to say "Oh, those aren't porn industry rules" I actually physically met and spoke to a man who was in porn for over 20 years and even after he left it he stayed in contact - and he said that those are the rules, along with a man cannot cross over from gay porn to straight porn, and in California two cops have to be on the set at all times to make sure everyone is of legal age and not doing any drugs or alcohol. So I think someone with actual experience knows a little more then the average joe.)

When anyoe here is in a relationship (even a marriage), if your partner tells you they had sex with someone else, but not to worry, it was purely physcal, and they plan to do it many times in the future, would you not care? I view porn as that, not as a job, but as having sex with others.

And since so much of sex is pychological for a woman chances are she never ever felt much for guys who were paid to do her. And I mean 'do' her, not make love to her. There's reasons why most of us don't actually do all the acrobatic baloney you see in porn-it's spectacle, not love. I would. Heck, I did. Most of the porn stars I've known personally have been decent folks. Likewise the prostitutes I've known. There's about the normal proportion of nuts and flakes amongst them (or maybe a bit more than normal), but if I click with a person in other ways, then I don't see why the fact that he or she does something sexual for a living should be a problem.
