10th Anniversary of the TMF on 11/20/10

With the 10 year anniversary of the launch of the TMF approaching, I was just wondering if anything is going to be done to commemorate the occasion. Would anybody happen to know?
 
I will be hosting a TMF Radio show that night, in honor of it. I already have several producers and the wonderful MTJ Publications involved in the early stages (interest and such) and I do plan on giving away clips, comics...maybe some rare ones depends on how we work it...like every 10-15 minutes live on the show. I am working on getting the schedules of a few models for some possible live tickling/interviews...etc.

I have a lot of plans for that night on TMF Radio...it may end up being a week long celebration.

Just listen to TMF Radio and RobAce Radio to find out all the details, and the planning.

Been a member from almost the very first day, and it has been great watching this thing grow far beyond that of a simple adult fetish forum. In fact you could have no real intrest in the fetish and still enjoy this place.
 
Been here since the original version on the anniversary date. I do believe however this version wasn't launched until April of 2001...

I'm looking forward to this. There has been so much that has happened over the years, from the awesome to the downright bizarre. It will be fun to reminisce.

Daddy remembers correctly. The current version of the forum did launch in April of '01, but the forum itself, under the TMF name was launched on the date on our homepage. The April re-launch was just to a better forum software package, and look. But it was still the TMF.

As to something special, I've thought about it, but as yet have no firm plans.

While we're waxing nostalgic, who knows the pre-history, i.e., tickling center of gravity before TMF? I've been visiting related sites since at least '94. My first was ASFT (alt.sex.fetish.tickling), and I think I recall a stint with Tickle Theater before TMF...
 
I could be wrong, but didn't the original TMF have an all-black background with yellow text? I may not be remembering this correctly. But anywho, I was thinking that perhaps a nostalgiac, throwback-style color-scheme for a day might be appropriate. That is, as long as the uproar and tears of confusion could be kept to a minimum. 😉

I thought it was like purple, but yeah that would be cool on the anniversary to change the colors to what it used to be with the original version. Maybe a sticky note in each of the subforums warning of it as a celebration of the anniversary would help minimize any uproar and confusion. :shrug:
 
is that the anniversary of the current version or does it include the ezboard era?

Yeah, I know silly. I was there, too. 😉 At the very least, we should have a giant 10th anniversary thread where people relate their fondest memories. Even the not-so-fond ones, within reason. It should make for some interesting discussion.
