I too am not personally fond of the term, "Session" and "Scene" as it does have a dispassionate and clinical connotation (unless clinical is part of one's particular tweak, and that's fine too) and prefer "Play Date" because that is what it is; a date set for parties involved to play. I think the appeal for some of the term, session, is that it has a built-in personal-out sound to it, so the user doesn't sound emotionally or sexually invested in the experience. An arms-length admission.

And just to be clear, sometimes a 'dispassionate 'Ler' going about their wicked work can be very hot.
