After a nearly 3 year war with cancer, BulletBill57, soldier, Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient, Father of four, writer/commentator, dedicated foot tickler, left us this morning at 7:54am central time. His courage and will to fight to the end were epic. If it were up to him, he'd still be fighting.

Rest easy now, old friend.

Allow me to add my condolences for the loss of a friend. Bulletbill was a friend to many, a great writer and wonderful human being. We chatted on a few occasions around the forum and I found him to be a genuine person.

I feel sadness for his loss. Bill truly had a great soul.

Bill was one of the first people I conversed with when I first arrived at the TMF.He was a genuine friend,and always tried to emphasize the positive. I always enjoyed his stories,and liked discussing them with him. My condolences go out to all Bill`s family and friends.
