OmahaTickler, complaining about the largest group of people to bother to get together socially after meeting on this forum is not going to be well-received.
OTOH, calling you names, regardless of your behavior, is unacceptable.
However, as one of those people who actually STARTED such processes, convincing groups of total strangers to gather and see what friendships could be made, I'm offended by your behavior. I do, however, understand not wanting to see a bunch of people who enjoyed something "lord it over you" in what may feel exclusive.
The solution is to NOT read the threads marked NEST. Same's true for those people here who like a kind of tickling you don't like (/m or /f, bondage or none, SM or none, etc.). We're a community, and like other communities our members have differences DESPITE an overlying similarity.
I'll remind all here that one can make clear one's frustrations with an individual without referring to them, in colloquial fashion, as a female dog, a woman's hygiene product that messes with pH, etc.
I'm not above giving misbehavior a holiday. Argue civilly or get used to not posting.
For the record, I haven't attended NEST in two years, and for what it's worth, I most miss the great social interaction with all of the friends I've made. You people rock.
If you feel left out of this group of less than 150 people, when there are tens of thousands here on this forum, you need perspective. I've now provided that. This is a TINY group cheering their success against monumental odds. Doubt that? Host one yourself.
