Well, the first 18 years, I knew I wasn't supposed to. Then, when I was about 17, I became afraid of Herpes Simplex 2, and after that A.I.D.S. so, basically, I didn't seek out female sexual companionship. Also, being a Catholic, I believe sex should be between two married people, so, never being married, I've never had sex either, although I might have had when I was younger, as I'm somewhat more sipritual now.

Been over a year for me

Since the time I was married.. I've had plenty of oportunities to do so, but for me sex MEANS something,almost a spiritual something and I have to have a close bond with the person I am with.

i answered this before, but..

i wanted to share some feelings about this topic.
(i can't believe i just said share some feelings:sowrong: )

as i said, it's been since the day after easter for me. what is odd is that i didn't really miss it, or realize it had been that long, till this thread came up. since the day i first read this thread, it has been on my mind, a lot! but not in the way you'd think. it's not that i want sex now, it's that i find myself resenting my wife for the sorry state of our sex life. there have been time in our marriage where we went long periods w/o any nookie, and i was climbing the walls. but not this time. this time i'm more angery, and resentfull.
i will never push my wife to have sex with me, if a gentle stroke, or kiss, or tickle doesn't get the desired reaction, then i just say good night, and roll over to my edge of the bed, and go to sleep.
sex is special to me too. it is more than two anmals rutting. i too long for the almost mysticle conection of it.

we talked about this yesterday. nothing was settled. but we are talking, calmly, candidly. shame it's about splitting up.

i was a lot happier before i read this thread.
