I don't usually bump threads like this, but I actually just found out that I'm going to be in New York, where this "end of the world" schtick is supposed to start, on Saturday. Needless to say, my family was amused. However, my father's girlfriend was not, though it does give us something to tease her about.
 
Apparently, the news channels are interested in this guy again as it's getting closer to "dooms day".

There is no way the end is here yet. principal photography has begun on warner bro. pictures and legendary pictures "dark knight rises", the epic conclusion to film director christopher nolan's batman trilogy. if god truly loves us, he would NEVER allow the end of the world to happen until everyone had a chance to see that movie! sorry...i'm a nerd :gabby:

Wait until Dec 21, 2012, THAT'S going to be the BIG "End of The World" wait! TV specials, parties, mass suicides, murders, more parties....probably a few tickle parties........

And NO, the preachers never apologize about missed calculations. When was the last time you heard a psychic apologize for a missed prediction? Never! Hell, they always claim, AFTER THE FACT, of predicting some big event. 9/11 (None predicted it), Katrina, the Egyptian uprising, or that James Darke would make a vieo featured a girl in suntan pantyhose and white top.....hey, that's a BIG deal!

Of course, even if you're a Christian, Jesus Himself said no one would know when the world would end.......

I just wanted to checkout judgementday2011.com for some laughs. They are actually selling t-shirts: "I survived Judgement Day", and a sponsorship banner for Goldline.

No doubt, the site is probably run by entrepreneurs preying on other people's fears for money.

I just wonder how much money they will make by late Saturday evening...
