All respect back at ya, I'm allowed to give my opinion. And most new people don't post because they are still scared to delurk. I never said I was obligated to post in in any thread. All the years I've been on this forum, I have yet to see a "re-hashed" topic and put in a "different twist". It's always the same old, same old. And I feel that it is laziness, instead of actually searching for a similar thread and bring it back up. What's wrong with that?
Coup said it best:
Way to discourage new people from posting! 😉 On this flip-side of this, you get people that say, "Why'd you bump this old assed topic?!? It's dead for crying out loud!!" Catch 22?
It's sometimes a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" type thing.
If a person posts a thread about a topic that's be talked to death about, then people complain and wonder why they didn't just do a search for that topic and post in that thread.
But if a person revives an old thread by adding his two-cents to the topic, then people complain and wonder why they revived a dead thread.
You're screwed no matter what you do because there's always one person who complains.
